This poem was inspired by a news article which caught my attention where Hillary Clinton accused special counsel John Durham of a "fake scandal", due to his allegation that during her 2016 presidential campaign, one of Clinton's campaign lawyers enlisted a tech executive to help mine internet data from locations including Trump Tower and the White House, with the purpose of establishing "an inference" and "narrative" tying then-candidate, Donald J. Trump, to Russia.
