This poem is composed of the following seven KJV Bible verses in this order. Please note that the word “wanteth” in Proverbs 10:19 means to be lacking. In other words, because it says “wanteth not”, it means that if we speak long enough, something wrong — meaning sin — will eventually be found in our words:

“In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.”
