COVID-19: Why It Is Morally Wrong to Mandate Vaccines

As many of you will already know if you have read some of my previous posts and the comment threads under them, some of my friends here are in favor of getting the COVID-19 vaccine, while others are not and do not support it for various, in my view, very legitimate reasons.

Sadly, both the present U.S. administration and certain health officials — you know who they are — have used this situation to further divide people, so that now considerable hate and animosity has been directed at people who refuse to be vaccinated for whatever their reasons.

As I have stated in previous posts, whether or not one gets the vaccine is a very personal choice, and this choice should NOT be taken away from us through forced mandates, because then we become a dictatorship and are no longer truly free.

Furthermore, if we allow them to force the vaccines on us, then they will be emboldened to pressure us further, and force on us whatever else they please, because we will have already shown weakness under pressure. That is a very dark road to go down, my friends.

But what I really wanted to say to everyone is the following: Just because you personally got the vaccine and are currently fine, does NOT necessarily mean that everyone who gets the vaccine will be fine.

In fact, as I am sure many of you are already aware, that is most certainly not the case. By their own admission, both the Biden administration, the CDC and others have candidly stated that literally thousands of people have ALREADY suffered negative reactions to the vaccines to varying degrees. Some have even died from taking the vaccines.

My friends, this is NOT just some wild conspiracy theory coming from some crazy person. It is verifiable medical fact which has been clearly confirmed by people both in the government, and in the medical profession.

That being the case, how can anyone ridicule and shame those of us who refuse to get vaccinated? How can anyone — the government, medical professionals, business conglomerates, small businesses, universities, schools, etc. — in good conscience pressure and force any of us to get vaccinated, when they know that it might quite possibly end in tragedy — including loss of life — for some of us?

To me personally, it is like playing a game of Russian Roulette. You just never know who is going to get the bullet, but someone always does, because that is the nature of the game.

Does anyone have the right to force us to take a vaccine which might seriously sicken us or even kill us? Despite their seemingly scientific explanations and their seemingly logical reasoning, I think not!

As I mentioned in a few previous posts, I am more afraid of getting the vaccine due to potential negative side effects, than I am of COVID-19 itself.

As it turns out, a recent poll revealed that this is in fact true of a majority of American adults who currently remain unvaccinated. We are talking about millions of people, my friends. Are we all wrong for feeling this way? Again, I think not.

In my particular case, I ALREADY have breathing issues and longterm lung damage, due to the fact that in recent years I have suffered from two bouts of DVT — Deep Vein Thrombosis, or blood clots in my legs — which the second time around led to Acute Bilateral Pulmonary Emboli.

The latter means that I had multiple blood clots which had traveled up my legs and into every single node of my lungs. I was in very bad shape, it was very painful for me to even breath, and I could have easily died if any of those blood clots had traveled to my heart or to my brain.

As a result of the aforementioned, I am now on an anticoagulant — or blood thinner — for life, to hopefully prevent any additional blood clots from forming in my body. This has greatly restricted my diet for reasons I won’t get into here, created problems with being able to take certain other drugs, and other issues.

By the way, everything I have stated here regarding my health can be confirmed by hospital records and by my personal physician, who incidentally respects my decision to not take the vaccine.

Now, are any of you reading this aware of the fact that one of the known negative side effects of taking the vaccines is in fact thrombosis, or the formation of blood clots? If you don’t believe me, look it up for yourself.

Blood clots is the LAST thing that I need; and as I said, that is precisely why I have been taking daily doses of Warfarin for a number of years now.

So tell me something. Do you honestly believe that the government has the moral right to shame me, to pressure me, and to force me to take a vaccine which could very well bring on the very thing I am fighting against, and which could potentially kill me? Do they have the moral right to take away my freedom to choose for myself when it comes to the issue of the COVID-19 vaccines?

Now with me, my decision to refuse the vaccine has to do in large part with DVT, Acute Bilateral Pulmonary Emboli, damaged lungs and breathing difficulty, and the potential for thrombosis. With someone else, it might be some other medical condition.

But here’s the thing. Even if there is no concern for any current medical condition, as I have stated before, in my view, no government or health agency has the political, medical or moral right to nullify and take away our right to choose for ourselves when it comes to deciding whether or not to take the vaccine.

No matter how scientifically sounding, or medically sounding, or logically sounding their reasoning may seem, when it comes to our bodies, we alone have the right to make the final choice. Not them. This is my position regarding this issue. You can agree or disagree as you each wish, but I will not debate the issue with anyone.

COVID-19: Politicians Demand Transparency Regarding Saudi Role in 9/11

Wow! Well this is certainly interesting! If you click or tap on the link below, you will see exactly what I mean. The wording of this piece of legislation is very direct, and very focused, and it does not hesitate to cast blame on current and previous administrations.

So I have three big questions:

#1. Will anything really come of it, or will it meet the same fate as all previous attempts to find the truth regarding the Saudi role in 9/11?

#2. Even if the documents are released, like previous FOIA requests, will they be so redacted that they won’t reveal any new information which might be helpful to the investigation?

#3. Why is this happening right now in the middle of the pandemic, when so many questions are being asked regarding the true efficacy of the vaccines, the probable need for periodic booster shots, etc.? Is it possible that the 9/11 issue is being brought to the forefront to serve as a possible red herring to draw our attention away from something more important that is going on which the powers that be don’t want us to see?

You know me. I just had to ask. 🙂

COVID-19: Have You Heard of the Vaccine Magnet Test?

Dear friends, one of my Facebook friends just informed me of something which I find quite unusual, and in fact rather unbelievable. So, I decided to share it with all of my friends to see what you think.

According to my friend, after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, two members of her extended family applied a small refrigerator magnet to their bodies, and the magnet stuck in both cases.

Please note that she does not specify exactly where — that is, on what part of the body — the magnet test was conducted. I am waiting for a response from her regarding that point, because I believe that it is important.

Has anyone else here who has taken the vaccine experienced anything like this? Even if you haven’t, I would be very interested in your thoughts.

As for me, after giving it some consideration, I wrote back to my friend with the following:

——- Begin Quote ——-

That is just plain weird. I tend to be a very logical, analytical person. I try to understand things. So, a few questions if I may.

1. What gave your sister-in-law and her mother the idea to even do that?

2. What part of their body did they apply the magnet to?

3. How soon after the vaccine was injected did they use the magnet?

4. Are you saying that the magnet actually stuck to their skin?

To be quite honest, as a logically-thinking person, I find the story difficult to believe. Let me explain why I have my doubts.

First of all, while I have not personally taken the vaccine, I would assume that whatever amount of actual serum it contains must be quite small if it is injected into one’s shoulder via a regular syringe. I am thinking along the lines of 30 CCs or less.

Assuming that is the case, then I would think that the amount of solid particles in the serum portion of the vaccine is considerably smaller than that.

Now, if the vaccine does contain any metallic substances — I have not personally researched this — I would think that the magnet would have to be applied immediately and directly to the injection site, in order for what they say happened, to actually happen.

Even then, I still have my doubts, because I have a hard time believing that the vaccine could contain a sufficient amount of metallic particles for that to even happen.

But let’s go on.

When that vaccine is injected, it is injected deep into the shoulder muscles, I assume. From there, I imagine that it immediately begins to be carried from the injection site to other parts of the body via the bloodstream.

So what does that mean? It means that the vaccine is very much diluted throughout the body — probably almost imperceptible — so that even if it does contain any metallic substances, they too are going to be very thinned out.

Thus, in my view, and with my limited understanding, I would think that if that magnet test were conducted on any part of the body other than the actual injection site, there would be zero results, because there simply wouldn’t be enough metallic particles present to allow for it to occur.

Getting back to the shoulder, even if the vaccine does contain a sufficient amount of metallic particles — which again, I have not confirmed — they would have to remain at the injection site long enough — and at a shallow enough depth — for them to have any effect on the magnet, which I still doubt.

So, in my view, if both your sister-in-law and her mother really did experience that, then I would have to conclude that it is due to something else; particularly if the magnet test was conducted on some other part of the body other than the shoulder area.

My key thought here is that a person’s body would have to have quite a concentration of metallic substances in it — either in the flesh, bones or blood — for this type of magnetic reaction to even occur.

So what does that mean? It implies longterm exposure to something metallic in their environment; perhaps in the water they drink, or maybe in the air they breath, or perhaps in some food that they constantly eat, or in something else.

But as I just said, it would have to be longterm exposure, so that the concentration of those metallic particles could build up to a sufficient level in the body, to allow the magnetic reaction to occur.

As a logically-thinking person who has no scientific background, those are my personal thoughts on the matter. I hope I have got your brain ticking on this. ?

——- End Quote ——-

So, what are your thoughts, my friends? I am not interested in wild, unproven conspiracy theories. Let’s deal with real scientific possibilities to try to explain this. Thanks!

COVID-19: My Personal Resistance Did Not Begin With the Covid-19 Vaccines

My friends, for those of you who are likewise continuing to resist getting the COVID-19 vaccine, please know that I understand exactly how you feel, and I can tell you that you are definitely not alone. Please refer to the new post I made here about an hour ago regarding the Kaiser Family Foundation poll. I think you will find it interesting.

But what I really wanted to share with you in this current post is the following.

In my case, my resistance goes beyond just the COVID-19 vaccine. In other words, my resistance did NOT just suddenly start with the COVID-19 vaccines.

For the record, it has been my personal philosophy, belief and practice for many years now to not put any more man-made chemicals, medications, etc., into my body than is absolutely necessary.

Currently, there are only two medications which I am forced to take on a daily basis, in addition to one vitamin supplement: an anticoagulant — due to previous incidents of DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) and Acute Bilateral Pulmonary Emboli — and a med to supplement my thyroid gland output. That’s it.

It is because of my personal philosophy that I would rather endure a headache until it passes, than take something like Tylenol, Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Aleve, Motrin, etc. Unlike a lot of people, I do not go to the medicine cabinet and pop a pill every time that I feel bad. It’s just not the way I roll.

Likewise, I stay away from all manner of popular opioids as much as possible, and I haven’t taken one in years now. They are simply nasty business, besides being highly addictive.

Perhaps most surprising of all is the fact that based on my recollection, I haven’t had a single vaccine for anything since I was a kid in elementary school over 55 years ago. Annual flu shots? Nope! I just don’t do it!

So as I said, this is a life philosophy for me. It is not just some sudden resistance to the COVID-19 vaccine on my part. It is an ongoing thing which I started many years ago.

The Scriptures inform us that our bodies are the temples of God’s Holy Spirit, and that we are to respect them and treat them as such, and not abuse them. That is why I also do not smoke, drink or use any recreational drugs.

What about you? Please feel free to share your thoughts below. Thanks!

COVID-19: Majority of Adult Non-Vaxxers Fear Vaccine More Than Covid-19 Itself

Now isn’t this interesting! Let me start by saying that I don’t place a lot of faith in public opinion polls for a variety of reasons, including the following:

1. They rely upon theoretical extrapolation of the actual results.

2. They rely upon very limited data sets, meaning the number of people polled compared to the entire population.

3. We don’t know how truly random the people are who are selected to participate in the poll.

4. The numbers can be manipulated by the pollster to say what they want them to say, and to produce the results which they desire.

If we choose to ignore all of the above, a new news article published in the The Washington Times states that a recent poll conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation found that 75% of unvaccinated American adults fear the COVID-19 vaccines, more than they fear COVID-19 itself.

The reason why I find that point so interesting is because barely 8 hours ago in a previous post here, I stated that this is precisely my position as well. Furthermore, I am sure that there are many of you out there who feel the exact same way. You fear the side effects of these questionable vaccines, more than you fear actually getting COVID-19. That really says a lot!

COVID-19: Are We Free to Choose for Ourselves or Aren’t We???

Hello again, my friends. Like many of you who are elderly, I also live alone, and I am really quite the recluse. In fact, since March of 2020 when the pandemic first seems to have hit our island, I have only left my home about twice a month to get my monthly lab work done, and to go to my monthly doctor’s appointment.

Other than those two monthly outings which I cannot miss, I have only gone out a few other times to get certain things in more recent months. I have someone who does my food shopping for me, and who checks my mail for me as well. I also find myself purchasing more online items as well. No surprise there.

While there is strong pressure here on Guam to get vaccinated — it is constantly promoted by the local government and by local health officials, and published in the newspaper just about every day — thus far, no official person or government agency has pressured me directly to be vaccinated. My personal physician also respects my choice not to be vaccinated.

Whether the situation will change in the future remains to be seen. Honestly speaking though, it is not looking very good for those of us who are still resisting being vaccinated.

As many of you will already know, and as I have shared in previous posts, from President Biden on down the line, the pressure to be vaccinated is quickly building and gaining more and more support, so that now entire cities — beginning with NYC — government agencies, companies, universities and public school systems are tightening the clamps, and this trend will no doubt continue.

Equally troubling is the fact that the animosity and hatred towards “non-vaxxers” is growing, and we are slowly being ostracized and squeezed into a corner, and now being blamed for the spread of the delta variant.

From the U.S. government and its various agencies, to the news media, they are all pushing this very same narrative. And as we saw in the news just a few days ago, the government came right out and said that the goal is to make life difficult for “non-vaxxers”.

Do you see the hypocrisy in this? In recent days, the Biden administration has repeatedly said that they will not make the vaccine mandatory. Yet by their very actions and war of words, they are doing the exact opposite.

I say this: The more a government insists that they won’t be doing a certain thing, the more you can be sure that that is exactly what they eventually intend to do.

So what are they waiting for? Well, my suspicion is that because right now there is still a lot of strong resistance — including at the state level, such as with Texas and Florida — and because there are many millions of American citizens who are refusing to be vaccinated, it would not be a good time for them to completely lower the hammer and mandate vaccinations for everyone.

So, I think perhaps they will abide their time, while they continue with their fear-mongering campaign, and with their pressure tactics, and with their constant demonization of “non-vaxxers”, until the FDA fully approves the vaccines sometime in September, according to the latest news reports.

They are already saying that they believe that such action by the FDA will be a game changer, and that it will convince a lot more people — perhaps millions — that the vaccines are safe. But are they really?

In short, my suspicion — and it is only a personal theory — is that they will slowly whittle down the over all number of vax resistors, until it reaches a certain percentage of the U.S. population which they feel is manageable. Then they will totally lower the hammer and mandate that everyone must be vaccinated against COVID-19, because we will be in the minority by then.

In short, free will and personal choice regarding the matter will be totally eliminated. They will point to certain ambiguous laws and legal precedents — the meaning of which they may twist for their benefit — in order to justify their actions, regardless of how illegal said actions may be.

In fact, if you are paying close attention to the news, you will discover that certain lawyers, university law professors, etc., are ALREADY beginning to spin this narrative. It is all a part of the psychological manipulation process to soften the people’s resolve.

Regardless, I will continue to resist getting the jab for as long as I possibly can, until there is no way out, and it is forced upon me. Of course, I hope that it doesn’t come to that.

Quite frankly, at this point in time, I am more afraid of the potential side effects of the vaccine, than I am of actually getting COVID-19. I already suffer from certain health issues, including problems with my lungs.

The fact is that I have survived for seventeen months of this pandemic thus far. As such, I must trust God to see me through the rest of it. And if not, if I should become infected and die, well, sudden death is sudden glory for the Christian Believer, as they say.

Quite honestly, I have a peace about this, and I just don’t worry about it. I don’t fear and fret every day like a lot of people are now doing. All of the government and news media fear-mongering and scary talk about the delta variant do not move me to fear. I just go on living my life every day as best as I can.

Of course, when I am out and about each month, I do wear a mask and practice social distancing, because it has been a government-mandated requirement here on Guam since March of last year, if I recall correctly. You can’t get into any places without a mask.

I should mention too that with a population of about 165,000 residents, since March of 2020, Guam has had a total of 143 officially-recognized COVID-19 related deaths. That is an average of less than 9 deaths a month for a 17-month period.

I should also mention that in the vast majority of cases, the deceased had underlying health conditions which were supposedly made worse by the coronavirus. So what did they really die from?

Obviously, any death is sad. But my point in sharing these figures with you is to demonstrate that in our case at least, wearing a mask and social distancing appears to have been to our benefit, which is something to think about.

In conclusion, let’s all pray that our personal choice is not completely taken away, because that certainly seems to be where things are headed in regards to the vaccine.

COVID-19: American Renters Get Two More Months of Breathing Space

In my previous post, I questioned whether or not the CDC was overstepping its authority in regards to its opposition to the proposed extension to the eviction moritorium which was first put in place in September of 2020 by the CDC and the Trump administration to protect renters during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This new article from The Washington Times answers that question and more. One paragraph in particular states the following:

——- Begin Quote ——-

“It is not clear whether the new eviction moratorium will survive legal challenges. The Supreme Court last month signaled that the CDC overstepped its authority when it imposed the first ban in September 2020.”

——- End Quote ——-

On the whole, I think it is a well-balanced article, because it not only mentions the difficulties which are being faced by American renters, but also the problems which are being encountered by American landlords due to non-payment of rent.

Of course, the Biden Administration and Congress are pointing the finger at each other for the failure and slowness in getting the money into the hands of the people who need it.

According to God’s Word, we never go wrong by helping the poor, the elderly and the downtrodden.

Here is The Washington Times article I mention above:

Or has Mayor Bill de Blasio signed his city’s economic death certificate by enforcing this mandate beginning in September?

COVID-19: This Is Just Crazy! It Sounds Like a Medical Dictatorship by the CDC!

I honestly don’t understand this, perhaps because I am not familiar with all of the power and authority which the CDC holds during times of a medical emergency, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

It just seems to me that the CDC should have nothing to do whatsoever with the eviction moratorium. It should be a decision left to the president and Congress. The CDC should stick to medicine and stay out of politics.

I am referring to this quote from an article in The Washington Times called “CDC balks at Biden’s request to extend eviction ban”:

“The White House scrambled Monday to address rising evictions nationwide, as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention rebuffed President Biden’s request to extend a moratorium and the administration faced a growing political problem.”

COVID-19: The Glaring Truth Regarding the Inefficacy of Being Vaccinated Just Keeps Coming Out

You doubt it? Then consider this latest article from The Washington Times.

The fact is that at the very most, these va¢¢ines may possibly mitigate your symptoms, should you become infected with COVID-19, and they may prevent you from dying.

However, they do NOT prevent you from getting COVID-19, and they do NOT prevent you from being a carrier, asymptomatic or otherwise.

So the big question is this: Do you want to take your chances as an unva¢¢inated person with getting a virus which has a 98% survivability rate … or do you want to take your chances with a not thoroughly tested va¢¢ine which is now known to have negative side effects, and which may even cause death?

The choice is yours. Not the government’s … at least for a short while longer.

COVID-19: In Case You Have Any Doubts About Biden’s Intentions

Following is a direct quote from The Washington Times article that I shared earlier:

“The directives are designed to spur vaccination by making life difficult for those who have refused the shots while setting the table for mandates in the private sector.”

Can it be any clearer than that? They want to force us to get a va¢¢ine which has yet to be fully approved by the FDA — that will happen by September — which has not undergone thorough testing for several years, and which has by their own admission resulted in thousands of people suffering from negative side effects, leading to hospitalization, and even death.

Why are they pushing this va¢¢ine so hard for a virus which has a 98% survivability rate? What are they really trying to accomplish with this “va¢¢ine”, which is really not even a va¢¢ine in the truest sense of the word? When has a government ever forced its constituents to do such a thing? Wake up folks! Something is not right with this.

Warning Regarding Setting Facebook Privacy to “Friends”

Dear friends, I don’t know if this is still true or not, because I have not tried it recently. However, in late 2018, I temporarily changed my timeline privacy settings from “Public” to “Friends”. I also changed friend requests to just “Friends of Friends”.

However, from that day forward, a few of my friends began reporting to me that they were unable to share my work from my timeline, because they couldn’t see a “Share” button or link on my timeline, even though I did see it on my end.

Well, eight days later, after a small degree of frustration, and with the help of a few of my friends, I finally figured out what was going on. As it turns out, it seems that if you set your timeline privacy settings to “Friends” instead of to “Public”, one of the negative side effects of doing that is that it ALSO prevents your friends from sharing your posts. The “Share” button/link simply disappears for them.

I was totally unaware of this fact up until that point. Thank God I was able to figure it out! As I said, this occurred towards the end of 2018, so I don’t know if it still holds true or not, and I am not about to find out. I just felt that I should warn everyone, just in case it is still the case.

FYI, the more you share my work on your own page or timeline, the more of it you will hopefully see in your news feed as well. This is because Facebook’s algorithm determines in part how much of a person’s posts to show you in your news feed, based on your particular degree of interest in that person’s work. So, by sharing my work often — as well as by liking and commenting on it — you are demonstrating to Facebook that you like my posts, and are probably interested in seeing more of them in your news feed.

Sample Facebook Friend Request Rejection Message

Dear friends, if you are like me — that is, if you are very particular regarding from whom you accept a friend request — sometimes, for a variety of reasons, you may have to turn down someone’s friend request. But how do you do it? What do you say to that person?

Well, in some cases, you may simply decide to ignore the friend request altogether, and not do anything. That is, other than delete the request. I myself have done this on quite a few occasions when it is apparent that the account is bogus; or it is plain to see that the timeline is promoting porn with links that say “See my nude photos here”; or maybe it is dark and devilish in nature; or perhaps the page is filled with a liberal dose of expletives; or it simply caters to topics in which you have zero interest.

But in other cases, you may feel that the person who is making the request merits some kind of response from you. In such cases, personally, I feel that honesty is the best policy. Just tell them bluntly why you cannot accept their friend request. If they are offended, or become angry, and march off in a fit of self-righteous indignation, after letting you have it with both barrels via a private message, oh well. At least they know the truth regarding why you turned them down.

Anyway, for those of you who are likewise God-fearing, Bible-believing Christians, and who primarily use your Facebook pages and timelines to promote the Gospel, following is a sample friend request decline message, which you may want to use as a guide, editing parts of it as you see fit. This is based on an actual message which I myself had to send to someone:

—– Begin Sample Message —–

Thank you for your friend request. I appreciate your interest in becoming Facebook friends with me. However, I am sorry to say that your timeline appears to be more about [place your description here], than about promoting Jesus Christ and the Christian faith.

Just so you know, when I scrutinize and vet a new friend request, I consider what my other Facebook friends will see, if they decide to visit that timeline. After all, the kinds of online friends I have is a reflection of my faith, and my own personality. So, I must be careful. Will my friends find something that will uplift and inspire their faith, or will they find something objectionable or offensive?

Yes, like everyone else, I have my views regarding [place your description here] as well, which I sometimes express on my timeline and page. However, I do not constantly dwell on those issues, as you appear to do. My timeline and Facebook page are primarily dedicated to uplifting God, sharing His Word, and encouraging and motivating my Christian brethren.

So, I am sorry to inform you, but your timeline just doesn’t pass the test. As such, in good conscience, I cannot accept your offer, and I feel led to decline your request. Perhaps if you decide to devote more time to promoting the Christian Gospel, I will change my mind at a later date, and accept a new friend request from you.

[You can add any other reasons regarding why you are declining their request in this space.]

Your Timeline; Your Rules:

Let me add that who you accept or decline as a friend is a very personal matter. We each have our own set of criteria. Some of us are more liberal in that regard than others. Some of you may exercise a certain degree of leniency which others may not, simply because you are more geared towards reaching the lost and the unsaved, and not just about online fellowship between Christians who are already saved. It is really your choice. It is your timeline, so you make the rules.

My Personal Approach:

I will say this: I really take it as far as I can before I decide to turn down a friend request. I try to be as lenient as possible. I look for every possible indication to see if that potential friend has some interest in our Christian faith. That is, if it is not already apparent on their timeline or page.

For example, I will look at the status updates which they post. I will examine the frequency with which they [and not others] post on their timeline. I will look at what kind of comments they make. I will look at the contents of the images which they post.

If I can’t tell outright that they are a Christian, then I will also look more closely at their photo albums. I will look at their About page. I will look at their friends list to determine if they have a lot of other friends who appear to be Christians, going by their profile images. I will also look to see if they have joined any Christian Facebook groups, or if they are associated with any kind of Christian groups, churches, organizations, etc., in their real offline life.

So again, I do try to give folks the benefit of the doubt.

However, if I don’t become convinced that they would make a worthy addition to my friends list, and be a positive influence on my other Facebook friends, then I simply don’t accept their friend request.

If all they do is talk about politics, or about aliens and UFOs, or unproven conspiracy theories, or environmentalism, or social justice, or some other cause which they support, or if they are into nothing but worldliness — such as fashion, celeb gossip, playing online games, selling items, sports, etc. — and I see nothing about promoting Christianity, or at least having a sincere interest in learning about the Christian faith, then I am not inclined to accept their friend request.

The same holds true if their timeline or page is full of nothing but selfies. I have come across quite a few timelines like that over the years. They are basically just a long stream of images of themselves in different poses, and with different expressions on their face, and not much of anything else. They seem to be totally in love with themselves. I guess they don’t have room for Jesus and the Christian faith in their lives; or at least they don’t wish to express their faith openly on their timeline. How sad.

One other thing I look at is how often a person likes to share content from other timelines, pages and sources. If they don’t, or if they do it very infrequently, then I assume that most of my work will never appear on their timeline. I am a preacher of the Gospel. I want what I do spread far and wide, and to reach and influence as many people as possible, for the Glory of God. If there is little possibility of that happening on their timeline, then that just gives me another reason to withhold accepting a friend request from them.

Yes, we have an obligation to reach the lost with the Christian Gospel. However, the fact of the matter is that they can still gain access to the Good News, simply by visiting my page or my timeline, WITHOUT me accepting their friend request, because my page and timeline are both public. Likewise, my BBB group is open for anyone to join. Thus, the Gospel is being preached to them, if they truly wish to hear it, or read it.

On a final note, let me also add that since joining the Facebook community in February of 2011, I have had way more people — no doubt in the hundreds by now — who have unfriended me, than I have chosen to not accept a friend request from. As I have mentioned before, since joining Facebook, I have constantly had between 4,000 and 5,000 friends at all times. Furthermore, they are of many different nationalities. In fact, only a minority are white American Christians. I think these facts alone reveal what kind of a person I am. So, contrary to what some of my critics would like to believe, I am not just a cold-hearted, callous tyrant. Oh, and also, most of my current friends are people who sent friend requests to me, and not vice versa. I like people who take the initiative. 🙂

What Do You Think of the Above Post?

Please Take Some Personal Initiative

My friends, I am sure that many of you can understand that I keep very busy here with the Bill’s Bible Basics ministry. In fact, as I have mentioned before, I am literally years behind in my work, and in the things which I hope to accomplish for the Lord in the time that I have left on this Earth. God knows when my time will be up.

Aside from writing new articles and series, or updating older ones, creating new graphics, or updating older ones, compiling new KJV Bible Verse Lists, and composing new poetry, I also have to contend with what can be very annoying, frustrating and time-consuming web server issues.

Such was the recent case where I had to start my web server from scratch, due to a technical issue which I was unable to resolve. As a result of this problem, I lost four years worth of posts from the BBB Blog. In fact, this was the second time that this has happened since I first began the blog many years ago. While I have the backup resources to replace just about everything that was lost, it takes me many, many months to repost the over 5,000 entries which were on the blog prior to losing everything.

So, the way that you personally can help me, is by taking some personal initiative yourself, whenever you have questions about the Bible and our Christian beliefs. Trust me when I say that after writing now for over a quarter of a century, I have probably already addressed a lot of the same issues which you personally think about and question. All you have to do is dig into my work, and use the Bill’s Bible Basics Search Engine, to mine the gold. Can you do that for me? It will really help me a lot, and you as well.

Following are a few links which will get you started:

BBB Search Engine

KJV Bible Verse Lists

BBB Articles: New

You will find many more links at the bottom of most pages on the BBB website. Thanks for taking the time to read this commentary.

Please Exercise Patience When Connecting to Bill’s Bible Basics Blog

https://www.billkochman.com/Blog/please-exercise-patience-when-connecting-to-bills-bible-basics-blog/

I just wanted to remind everyone that when you click on my images on Facebook, or on any other social network where I share my work, you need to be patient while you are being transferred to my actual Bill’s Bible Basics Blog, where I actually post my images, poetry, KJV Bible Verse Lists, etc.

For those of you who may have forgotten, or who may not know — I normally do NOT actually post content directly on the social networks — except in rare cases. The few exceptions are personal replies to my friends’ comments and more recent news articles on which I post an opinion. These are in fact posted directly on the social networks without any intermediary software. But regarding all of the rest of my content — meaning my images, etc. — it is posted on my Bill’s Bible Basics Blog first. Then, from my blog, whatever I post is syndicated to the different social networks where I participate.

That being the case, when you click on one of my images on one of the social networks, please be patient, and bear in mind, for example, that if you live on the U.S. East Coast, you are literally thousands of miles away from me. That is a lot of server hops from you to me. In other words, the http request that you send in your web browser has to bounce from server to server until it reaches my web server, and the BBB Blog.

To add to that, please also bear in mind that in order to function properly — some of you won’t understand this — the Bill’s Bible Basics Blog depends on PHP and a mySQL database to load the content on my blog pages. These are known for being slow players in the IT — Internet Technology — field.

So, because of the aforementioned factors, it can take a few seconds — and sometimes a little longer, depending on Internet congestion — for the BBB Blog page or the BBB web page to load completely in your web browser. Please do not get impatient during this time and take off elsewhere.

Let me also remind you that once the BBB Blog page or the BBB website page loads in your web browser, you will see the entire image, along with any Bible verses, commentary or study resource links which I have included below it. This likewise applies to links which take you to my articles and series, to my poetry, to my KJV Bible Verse Lists, etc.

Furthermore, on the BBB Blog, directly below each and every entry which I post, you will find a series of buttons which will allow you to either print that particular entry, share it with someone else via email, or share it with your friends on any social network in which you personally participate. Just click the button that you wish to use, and follow whatever instructions — if any — appear in the sharing form.

I hope that the above information clears up a few things for some of you.

Thanks for your patience.

What Do You Think of the Above Post?

Please Don’t Just Be a Lurker!

It is a given that the vast majority of people who participate on social networks are lurkers. They rarely — if ever — like or share posts that they enjoy. Even fewer are those people who take the time to actually comment on a post. Most folks just silently browse posts in the background, never making their presence known through the aforementioned actions.

However, while it may not be their intention, their lack of participation may actually discourage the person who has worked so hard to create, publish and distribute the posts. The truth is that the OP — original poster — may even think that his or her hard work for the Lord is having little to no effect on the lives of others. This may lead them to eventually give up, and stop posting altogether.

What a shame this would be. So if you don’t want this to happen, please be considerate by occasionally liking, posting and commenting on posts that you particularly enjoy. Thanks so much! As we read in the Epistle to the Hebrews:

“But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”
Hebrews 13:16, KJV
