What Do You Think of the Above Post?

Yackety-Yak

As many of my Christian friends will already know, the Bible informs us that God’s Word is very powerful. It cuts through everything and reveals the thoughts and intents of our hearts, as we read in the following verse:

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
Hebrews 4:12, KJV

Yet despite this Biblical truth, it really saddens me to come across so many Christian social network pages, where while the author of the page may generally talk about God, Jesus and the Bible to a certain degree, they rarely, if ever, actually quote directly from the Scriptures.

In other words, it is all just their own human words. Or maybe they share reel, after reel, after reel. But again, as far as God’s straight Word is concerned, where a person can read Bible verses right there on that page, there is very little or nothing at all.

Personally, I tend to think very differently. My view is summarized in the following two verses:

“. . . For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.”
Psalm 119:89, KJV

“I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.”
Psalm 138:2, KJV

It is for that reason, that while I also post a lot of graphics which contain my own words, just like my Bill Bible Basics articles and series, many more of my social network posts contain the straight Word of God; particularly my KJV Bible Verse Lists.

My friends, God’s Word is much more powerful than anything you and I could ever say. It is what touches hearts and changes lives. I encourage all of you to share more of the straight truth of the Scriptures — via actual Bible verses — on your social network pages.

Locked Profile?

Many of us have encountered it, particularly on Facebook. Someone sends you a friend request, and so you go to their timeline to check them out before you decide to accept their friend request. Well, at least that is what you SHOULD be doing!

So what happens next? You encounter a locked profile, thus preventing you from seeing anything on that person’s page.

I don’t know about you, but such incidents really make me scratch my head and wonder what is wrong with this person. Do they honestly believe that anyone will accept a friend request from a locked profile?

More than that, it makes me suspicious, and it makes me wonder if said person has something to hide. Are they a scammer of some sort? Do they want to hijack my profile? Are they a wannabe porn star? What?

Who knows! But one thing is for certain. I will NOT accept such a friend request, and I advise you to do likewise.

Similar to the above are certain Truth Social users. You notice that someone new is following you. So again, you go to their page to check them out. And what do you discover? Even though they have been a member of Truth Social for weeks, months or longer, there is not a single post on their page. Sorry! But you get an immediate block!

Be careful folks! There are a lot of deceivers out there!

Social Networks Echo Chambers!

We have all seen it: Reposts, retweets, retruths . . . ad nauseam. It seems that many of the social networks have become nothing more than echo chambers where the same content is posted over and over and over again! Enough already!

Personally, I like original content. In fact, I create a lot of original content in Adobe Photoshop — over 7,000 graphics to date — which my online friends are welcome to freely share, as long as they don’t alter my images in any way.

So, if you really want me to accept your friend request, then one way in which you can improve your chances is by posting your OWN fresh, original content, instead of the same old, same old. Got it? Great!

Apostles Were Convinced Jesus Would Return Soon Graphic 08

#apostles #JesusWillReturn #ReturnSoon

NOTE #1: In Acts 2:16-18, the Apostle Peter — who had just been filled with the Holy Spirit — is clearly saying two things: Joel’s prophecy was being fulfilled at that time during the First Century, and that period was also the Last Days. The phrase “last days” does NOT mean from 30 AD to the 21st Century, as some modern, Futurist-leaning Bible teachers erroneously teach. That is a false doctrine of men.

NOTE #2: The fact that in 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18 the Apostle Paul includes himself by saying “we” is clear proof that he was expecting Christ’s soon return, and he was hoping to still be alive to witness it.

NOTE #3: In Hebrews 1:1-2, the phrase “lasts days” refers to the very end of the Prophet Daniel’s 70 weeks — or 490 years — prophecy. It has nothing to do with our modern times, as Futurists claim.

NOTE #4: In Hebrews 10:37, the phrase “a little while” does NOT mean 2,000 years in the future as the Futurists claim.

NOTE #5: In James 5:2-3, 7-8, the Apostle James is likewise confirming that it was the Last Days, and he was convinced that Jesus would be returning soon.

NOTE #6: 1 Peter 4:7 confirms the phrase “in these last days” mentioned in Hebrews 1:1-2 above.

NOTE #7: In 1 John 2:18, not once, but twice, the Apostle John tells his readers that it is the Last Time, or the very end of the Prophet Daniel’s 70 weeks prophecy.

Conclusion: Peter, James and John — who were Jesus’ inner circle — as well as the Apostle Paul, were all convinced that Jesus would return during their lifetimes, exactly as He had promised them in these verses:

In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME AGAIN, AND RECEIVE YOU unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also . . . I will not leave you comfortless: I WILL COME TO YOU.”
John 14:2-3, 18, KJV

How can so many modern, Futurist-leaning Christians continue to resist the plain truth of the Scriptures?
