This is why in Acts chapter seven, where Stephen is stoned to death — which the Apostle Paul witnesses — we read the following:
“And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul. And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.” Acts 7:58-60, KJV

NOTE : In Hebrews 13:16, the word “communicate” is derived from the Greek word “koinonia”, which means to fellowship, to associate, to join in participation, to contribute. In essence then, all of these verses are saying the very same thing; and that is that some form of spiritual fellowship is important for us Christians.
