“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:34, KJV
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14, KJV
“Righteousness Exalts a Nation” KJV Bible Verse List:
Contrary to the popular Roman Catholic trinity doctrine which erroneously claims that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are “co-equal”, the Bible actually teaches that Jesus was, and still remains, subservient to His Father. Furthermore, the Scriptures plainly teach us that God the Father is greater than all, and above all. This obviously means that the Father is also greater than Jesus, as Jesus Himself declared. Jesus NEVER claimed to be God. This is a modern misunderstanding of certain verses.
“One God and Father of all, WHO IS ABOVE ALL, and through all, and in you all.” Ephesians 4:6, KJV
“My Father, which gave them me, is GREATER THAN ALL; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.” John 10:29, KJV
“Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for MY FATHER IS GREATER THAN I.” John 14:28, KJV
“But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; AND THE HEAD OF CHRIST IS GOD.” 1 Corinthians 11:3, KJV
“Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; AND TO MY GOD, and your God.” John 20:17, KJV
“Then cometh the end, when he [Jesus] shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he [Jesus] shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he [Jesus] must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he [God the Father] is excepted, which did put all things under him [under Jesus]. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, [unto Jesus] then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him [unto God the Father] that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.” 1 Corinthians 15:24-28, KJV
“Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, YET LEARNED HE OBEDIENCE by the things which he suffered;” Hebrews 5:7-8, KJV
“And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless NOT MY WILL, BUT THINE, BE DONE.” Luke 22:41-42, KJV
“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I SEEK NOT MINE OWN WILL, BUT THE WILL OF THE FATHER WHICH HATH SENT ME.” John 5:30, KJV

The poetry you will find on the Bill’s Bible Basics website is NOT typical poetry. It is sharp, laser-focused, and depending on the subject matter, it’s uncomfortable. While much of it is Christian in nature, there are also hundreds of poems which deal with government corruption, biased mainstream media, discriminatory social networks, compromised Christianity and more. So before you decide that poetry is just not your thing, please check us out at the URL below. Who knows. You just might discover that you like poetry after all! Oh, and BTW, it’s free to share!
Note: Please note that I am NOT a Rolling Stones fan. I liked a few of their songs in my younger days over fifty years ago before I got serious with the Lord. But I thought that some of my older friends might find it a bit humorous that I mention three Stones songs in this anti-social networks poem.

A poem inspired by the 2024 U.S. presidential campaign . . . how unpresidential! This poem is political satire. I don’t really believe that politicians should act this way. Quite to the contrary!
