Within UFOlogy circles, a number of UFO sightings, close encounters, alien abductions and other stories have gained notoriety over the past seven decades or so. These include the famous 1947 Kenneth Arnold sighting near Mount Rainier in Washington state; the equally famous 1947 Corona/Roswell UFO crash; the 1948 Mantell UFO incident in which Captain Thomas F. Mantell crashed his F-51 Mustang fighter while in pursuit of an alleged UFO; the 1952 Washington, DC UFO flap; the 1957 Kirtland AFB, New Mexico UFO sighting; the 1980 Rendlesham Forest incident -- also known as the RAF Bentwaters incident -- which took place in Great Britain; the 1987 Gulf Breeze, Florida UFO incident; the 1989 Carp, Ontario UFO case; the 1989 Linda Napolitano alien abduction case which occurred in Manhattan, N.Y; the 1995 Lesotho, South Africa UFO crash; the 1997 Phoenix Lights UFO sighting; the controversial KRILL Papers; the secret organization known as Majestic Twelve or simply MJ-12; the alleged underground alien base at Dulce, New Mexico; and a host of others which are too numerous to mention here.

Of course, whether or not any of these alleged UFO sightings, alien encounters, UFO crashes, or alien abductions actually occurred, or were really encounters with aliens or spaceships which were not of this Earth, you will have to determine for yourself, if you are even interested in taking the time to investigate them. I do discuss a few of these incidents in my nineteen-part series called "Nature of the Alien: ETs, Demons or a Government Plot?".

One rather prominent and controversial UFO case from Europe -- which many professional people now view as a grand hoax -- concerns a one-armed farmer by the name of Billy Meier, who hails from the country of Switzerland. In reality, his name is Eduard Albert Meier. However, he was given the nickname of Billy by an American friend, due to the fact that Meier likes to dress in attire of the Old West, and thus he reminded his American friend of Billy the Kid.

For those of my readers who may not be familiar with this particular UFO story, over the years -- since the age of five in 1942 -- Billy Meier has purportedly had hundreds of encounters and conversations with a species of humanoid aliens who claim to originate from the small star cluster called the Pleiades -- or Seven Sisters -- which is located in the vicinity of the constellations of Taurus and Orion.

Note: Please take what I say in the following paragraphs with a grain of salt. I am not saying that I believe any of this information. I am merely conveying what Mr. Meier has said regarding his alleged alien encounters. It is pretty wild stuff. However, I need to share it with you so that you have a background for the things I will be sharing with you afterward.

Billy Meier -- who in the lingo of UFOlogists is referred to as an alien contactee -- claims that the Pleiadians originate from a planet about the same size as Earth. This planet is one amongst ten planets, and is called "Erra". It revolves around a central sun called "Tayget" in the Pleiades star system, according to Meier and his alien visitors. It is one of four planets in this star system which are claimed to be inhabited.

These extraterrestrial beings are said to be tall with fair skin and light hair. Some people also refer to them as the Nordics for this reason, although Meier refers to them as the "Plejaren". Pleiadian life expectancy is claimed to be one thousand years. These alien beings are said to be a very benevolent alien race, whose supposed purpose in coming to the Earth is to communicate to all humans what they refer to as the universal "teachings of the spirit". Their hope is that doing so will help to neutralize the negative effects of various of our world's religions. To me, this sounds very much like ecumenism. Please refer to my four-part series entitled "Modern False Prophets and Worldly Ecumenism".

Billy Meier has claimed that his contact with these alleged alien beings has been so intimate, that on some occasions he was permitted to take photographs of their starships, which the Pleiadians refer to as beamships. One of these Mr. Meier dubbed the "sports model". These controversial photographs were taken by Meier mainly during the 1970s and the 1980s. In fact, during the 1970s, Mr. Meier provided metal samples, sound recordings and film footage as evidence to support his claims.

According to one online source, most Pleiadian beamships are disk-shaped, and range from seven to twenty-one meters in diameter. The outermost layer of these crafts consists of a copper, nickel and silver alloy, which is fashioned into a single seamless casing. Pleiadian beamships can fly silently around Earth at extremely high rates of speed. They can also cloak themselves, if necessary. Meier claims that some of the Pleiadian spacecraft are even capable of time travel in both directions. In addition to these smaller craft, Meier says that the Pleiadians also have gigantic spacecraft which are several kilometers in diameter. These ships are used more for universal space travel.

Regarding Billy Meier dubbing one of the Pleiadian spacecraft the "sports model", it is interesting to note that years ago, Bob Lazar -- who is also a sort of celebrity within UFOlogy circles -- likewise dubbed one of the alien spacecraft which he allegedly saw in a hangar, the "sports model". This info was included in Lazar's Area 51 S-4 accounts of the 1980s. In fact, if memory serves me correctly, Billy Meier is on record as having stated that he had even been permitted to take trips with these aliens in their fantastic vehicles.

According to this UFO story, the primary alien contact agent between Billy Meier and his Pleiadian visitors was supposedly a beautiful woman by the name of "Semjase". However, she was not the first one to make contact with Meir. In their book, "UFOs, Chemtrails, and Aliens: What Science Says", authors Donald R. Prothero and Timothy D. Callahan state that Meier claims that his first contact in 1942 was with an elderly man by the name of Svath, or Sfath. Svath allegedly died in 1953, after which time Meier claims that he began communicating with another alien woman by the name of "Asket". When contact with her was terminated in 1964, Meir states that he waited until January of 1975 when he was contacted by "Semjase", who he says is the granddaughter of Svath.

Meir claims to also have made contact with other Pleiadians as well, including "Ptaah", "Nera" and "Quetzal". Oddly enough, the name "Ptaah" is very similar to the name of the ancient Egyptian god "Ptah". Not only that, but "Quetzal" -- which is a Nahuatl word -- is part of the name of the ancient Aztec god "Quetzalcoatl", the winged serpent. There exists, in fact, a colorful bird by this same name which inhabits the extreme southern USA, Mexico, Central America and South America.

Being the cautious skeptic that I tend to be, upon becoming aware of the Billy Meier UFO case, my first inclination was to think that perhaps the name Meier gave to his beautiful female alien companion -- "Semjase" -- was just a play on the English word "message". After all, she was purportedly a messenger from the stars. In other words, if you unscramble the letters which form the name "Semjase", it is definitely close to "message" in our English language, as you can see here: messaje. Perhaps it is merely a coincidence, or maybe not. I will leave it to you the reader to arrive at your own conclusions.

However, while reading the highly controversial apocryphal work, the Book of Enoch, I came across something which might point to an even more sinister scheme in naming the Pleiadian female alien "Semjase". For those of you who have never read this ancient text, one of the key parts of the Book of Enoch concerns the discussion of the Fallen Angels, who are also referred to as the "ir", or the "Watchers". According to the Book of Enoch, the Watchers numbered about two hundred angels who had rebelled against God. You may recall that the sixth chapter of the Book of Genesis also briefly mentions these wicked beings. However, the Book of Enoch discusses them -- as well as their exploits upon the Earth -- in considerably greater detail.

According to both the Books of Genesis and Enoch, after descending to the Earth at Mount Hermon, these celestial beings had sexual intercourse with human women prior to the Great Deluge; that is, the Genesis Flood. This illicit union between Fallen Angels and the daughters of men resulted in a race of powerful giants commonly referred to as the Nephilim, or the Anakim. They are also known by other names in the Scriptures. Consider the following verses which describe these events:

"And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown."


"And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.' And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.' And they all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.' Then sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And these are the names of their leaders: Semiazaz, their leader, Arakiba, Rameel, Kokabiel, Tamiel, Ramiel, Danel, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal, Asael, Armaros, Batarel, Ananel, Zaqiel, Samsapeel, Satarel, Turel, Jomjael, Sariel. These are their chiefs of tens. And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants."


"And they have gone to the daughters of men upon the earth, and have slept with the women, and have defiled themselves, and revealed to them all kinds of sins. And the women have borne giants, and the whole earth has thereby been filled with blood and unrighteousness."


"Wherefore have ye left the high, holy, and eternal heaven, and lain with women, and defiled yourselves with the daughters of men and taken to yourselves wives, and done like the children of earth, and begotten giants as your sons? And though ye were holy, spiritual, living the eternal life, you have defiled yourselves with the blood of women, and have begotten children with the blood of flesh, and, as the children of men, have lusted after flesh and blood as those also do who die and perish."


"And I, Enoch, answered and said unto him: 'The Lord will do a new thing on the earth, and this I have already seen in a vision, and make known to thee that in the generation of my father Jared some of the angels of heaven transgressed the word of the Lord. And behold they commit sin and transgress the law, and have united themselves with women and commit sin with them, and have married some of them, and have begot children by them. And they shall produce on the earth giants not according to the spirit, but according to the flesh . . ."


"And they became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them and devoured mankind."


"And again the Lord said to Raphael: 'Bind Azazel hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening in the desert, which is in Dudael, and cast him therein. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may not see light. And on the day of the great judgement he shall be cast into the fire . . . And the Lord said unto Michael: 'Go, bind Semjaza and his associates who have united themselves with women so as to have defiled themselves with them in all their uncleanness. And when their sons have slain one another, and they have seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them fast for seventy generations in the valleys of the earth, till the day of their judgement and of their consummation, till the judgement that is for ever and ever is consummated. In those days they shall be led off to the abyss of fire: and to the torment and the prison in which they shall be confined for ever.'"


"And I looked and turned to another part of the earth, and saw there a deep valley with burning fire. And they brought the kings and the mighty, and began to cast them into this deep valley. And there mine eyes saw how they made these their instruments, iron chains of immeasurable weight. And I asked the angel of peace who went with me, saying: 'For whom are these chains being prepared?' And he said unto me: 'These are being prepared for the hosts of Azazel, so that they may take them and cast them into the abyss of complete condemnation, and they shall cover their jaws with rough stones as the Lord of Spirits commanded. And Michael, and Gabriel, and Raphael, and Phanuel shall take hold of them on that great day, and cast them on that day into the burning furnace, that the Lord of Spirits may take vengeance on them for their unrighteousness in becoming subject to Satan and leading astray those who dwell on the earth.'"


Following are some additional verses which are found in the pages of the New Testament where these same imprisoned beings are given brief mention:

"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water."


"For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;"


"And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day."


Not only did God have these rebellious Fallen Angels cast into a prison within the bowels of the Earth, but he likewise sent the Flood some one hundred and twenty years later, in order to destroy their half-human, giant, evil offspring. Having explained to you now some of the background regarding the Watchers, allow me to address the main subject of this current article. It appears that I may have discovered a connection between these Fallen Angels, and Billy Meier's Pleiadian aliens. As it turns out, according to the Book of Enoch, besides Mastema and Azazel, one of the other chief leaders of these Fallen Angels was named Shemyaza. Consider these two names side by side:

Semjase and Shemyaza

The first syllable is close indeed. This is because in some languages, the letter "s" and double consonant "sh" are reversible. In fact, the second syllable is also close if you are aware of the fact that in some cultures -- such as where I live -- the letter "y" is actually pronounced like the letter "j". Likewise, in certain languages -- such as Spanish -- the letter "z" is pronounced like the letter "s". There is no "zzz" sound. Thus, taking these various points into consideration, we now see that "Semjase" and "Shemyaza" are very close indeed in their pronunciation.

So, we must ask ourselves. Is the similarity between these two names merely a coincidence, or are they referring to the same evil creature? Obviously, I really cannot say with any degree of certainty. However, it is indeed an interesting speculation worth considering, in my view. If the Meier case is indeed a carefully orchestrated hoax, could it be that Mr. Meier was in fact aware of the contents of the Book of Enoch, and thus chose "Semjase" as the name for his female Pleiadian companion? Or worse yet, could it be that Billy Meier has had multiple encounters, not with a beautiful being from Outer Space as he has claimed, but rather with a deceptive being whose true origin is from inner space? In other words, yes, I am referring to the Spirit Realm. More specifically, I am referring to the dreaded creatures of lore who are known as the succubus; female demons who allegedly engage in sex with sleeping men.

As I went through my files regarding the Billy Meier UFO case -- I used to have about 1,500 files on my hard drive which were related to the alien and UFO phenomenon -- I came across yet another interesting detail which seems to add weight to the possibility that Billy Meier may not only have been aware of the Book of Enoch, but he may have also read it as well, thus confirming his knowledge of the name of the fallen angel "Shemyaza".

In one of my UFO files there is quite a bit of information concerning how Billy Meier came into contact with a former Lebanese priest who, before his death -- purportedly by assassination -- presented Billy Meier with a copy of his translation of part of the also highly controversial text known as the Talmud Jmmanuel. It seems to me that if Meier was interested in this ancient text, he more than likely had an interest in similar apocryphal works, such as the Book of Enoch. Again, while I really can't prove any of this beyond a shadow of a doubt, the trail of evidence does appear to point to a connection between Billy Meier's "Pleiadian" ambassador known as "Semjase", and the fallen Watcher named "Shemyaza".

As I continued to look into this issue, I made another interesting discovery which further confirms my suspicions. While I was sending a text file version of the Book of Enoch to one of our BBB website visitors, I discovered that the name is actually spelled "Semjaza". This makes the name even closer to the "Semjase" version of Billy Meier's Pleiadian UFO stories. I found this additional information in another file I had which was entitled "Ashes of Angels". It was another author who was seeking the truth behind the Book of Enoch, who spelled the name of the leader of the Watchers as "Shemyaza".

So if "Semjaza" is actually the real spelling of the name, then it is looking more and more to me like Billy Meier either read the Book of Enoch, and then borrowed the name for his Pleiadian UFO stories, or else what he believes have been alien visitations, are in reality demonic manifestations. This would be more in agreement with my personal beliefs at this time regarding the nature of these supposed "aliens". That is, that at least some of them are really demons. The reason why I say "some", is because if demons can appear to us as angels of light, and be mistaken for alien beings, then it also stands to reason that God's good Angels could also appear to us, and some people might mistake them for aliens as well. Again, please refer to my nineteen-part series "Nature of the Alien: ETs, Demons or a Government Plot?" for additional information.

As I point out in a number of other articles such as "Age of Deception, Age of Delusion", there are many evil, deceptive forces at work in the world right now. From all angles, it appears that we are possibly being prepared and conditioned for some kind of a revelation in the near future. Of course, this talk of disclosure has been going on between the UFO crowd for quite a few years now, and nothing has ever come of it; so who knows. Furthermore, what is being promoted as disclosure, could in the end turn out to be more deception. As you may know, in the Scriptures we are warned about Satan and his minions appearing as angels of light. Consider the following verses:

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."


As I noted earlier in this article, many people have become convinced that the entire Billy Meier UFO encounter was just a well-planned, fabricated hoax. If such is indeed the case, and if Meier was really listening to a lying spirit, then the following verses certainly seems to describe him well:

"But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."


"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."


Is it possible then that Billy Meier's beautiful Pleiadian woman "Semjase" was actually one such appearance of these lying spirits? Again, I leave you the reader to decide for yourself. I do recall reading one comment on the Internet some time ago where a photo of "Semjase" was proven to be that of a popular Swiss model. I really don't know if there is any truth to this particular story or not. At any rate, the connection between Semjase and Shemyaza appears to be a plausible and interesting one. What do you think?

To reiterate that previous point, the consensus amongst a lot of scientists, skeptics, and even other ufologists, seems to be that the entire episode with Mr. Meier -- including the many splendid photos -- was a well-thought-out hoax, similar to what some people also believe regarding Ed Walters and the Gulf Breeze UFO incident. In fact, while I was updating this article today, I came upon some new information regarding this case, which seems to confirm that the entire Meier hoax was created using homemade models of flying saucers, which were made out of locally available materials.

Meier's own ex-wife -- a Greek woman by the name of Kalliope Zafiriou -- confirmed to interviewers in 1997 that the models were made from materials as common as trash can lids, carpet tacks, Christmas tree bulbs, and other household objects. As far as the alleged "alien" women "Asket" and "Nera", she also told the interviewers that in actuality, the photographs were of members of the singing and dancing troupe known as The Golddiggers who were featured on The Dean Martin Show during the mid-1960s to the mid-1970s. I recall watching the show as a teenager. The two women's names were Michelle DellaFave and Susan Lund.

Finally, to further cast doubt upon the whole Billy Meier UFO story, Meier received many predictions from the Pleiadians regarding certain events which were supposedly going to happen on the Earth. To date, all of their predictions have failed to materialize. As Jesus warned us regarding false prophets in the Gospel of Matthew:

"Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."


I have no doubt that for many of my Christian readers, a lot of the previous information regarding Billy Meier's claims will seem pretty far-fetched. Sadly, Meir's delusions do not end there. It actually gets considerably worse. According to the Wikipedia website, Mr. Meier has also made the claim of being the seventh reincarnation after six prophets who are common to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. These are Enoch, Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Jesus -- who Meier refers to as Jmmanuel -- and Mohammed. In other words, Mr. Meier actually believes himself to be the reincarnation of Jesus Christ. How many other misguided fools have we seen make this very same false, blasphemous claim in recent years? I am reminded of the following verses:

"For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many . . . For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."


"For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many . . . For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect."


"And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them."


To add injury to insult, in the aforementioned book, authors Donald R. Prothero and Timothy D. Callahan likewise note that Mr. Meier wrote a book called "Talmud Jmmanuel". It contains the "celestial teachings" of the Pleiadians, according to Mr. Meier. But that is not all. Billy Meier gets more blasphemous when he claims that this teaching is the "true testament" of Jesus Christ, which was written following Jesus' Crucifixion. Amongst the devilish delusions which are included in the book, Meier says that Jesus was fathered by a Pleiadian by the name of "Plejos", who had intercourse with Mary. Also, similar to the Muslims in Surah An-Nisa of the Qur'an, Meier claims that Jesus didn't really die on the Cross. Somehow He survived the Crucifixion. So Meir is an ungodly, antichrist deceiver in every regard.

Furthermore, to help propagate his blasphemy, during the late 1970s, Mr. Meier founded a religious movement which was based on his alleged contacts with the Pleiadian woman "Semjase". In English it is translated as Free Community of Interests for the Border and Spiritual Sciences and Ufological Studies. The movement is based in Switzerland, where Billy Meier also established the "Semjase Silver Star Center". Oh, and by the way, Billy Meier rakes in hundreds of thousands of dollars each year through his blasphemous movement.

Having now read this article, I hope that it has impressed upon you even more the great deception which has filled our world. It seems that people are willing to believe just about anything these days, and even throw a lot of money at it as well. The Billy Meier UFO story is yet another good example of why we Christians need to stay well-grounded in God's holy Word. We need to ask the Lord for His Wisdom and Spiritual Discernment, so that we too don't become deceived by such charlatans as Billy Meier.
