President Trump and the Golden Age

Ever since Donald J. Trump won a resounding victory in his recent 2024 presidential re-election bid, there has been a lot of online talk regarding how he and his administration are going to usher in a so-called "Golden Age" in the USA. I briefly discuss this very same subject to some degree in the article called "America, Trump, MAGA and Peace, Safety and Prosperity". While it is obviously not my intention to be a pessimist, to be quite honest, when it comes to the idea of America entering a golden age, I have to say that I wouldn’t count on it, or even believe it for that matter. Let me tell you why I feel this way.
Even if such a golden age really is going to happen despite my personal doubts, allow me to remind you that such an age of peace, prosperity and plenty will not come easy. Why not? Well, because as we all know, or should know, despite their embarrassing defeat at the ballot box, the liberal Left is still a very powerful force, and it is foolish to entertain the belief that their hearts have suddenly changed. Trust me when I say that they have not changed one single bit. I am reminded of the following verse which is found in the Book of Jeremiah:
"Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil."
So again, going by the evidence we have seen thus far, the liberal Left has not changed at all. They have apparently learned nothing from their defeat. In fact, I would dare say that, if anything, President Trump’s electoral victory will motivate the liberals to resist his political agenda even harder. As I have been sharing with some of my friends for a while now, I am convinced that the Democrat's key operative word for the next four years will simply be OBSTRUCTION.
In fact, have we not already seen the Democrats in action? If you have been paying close attention to the nomination and confirmation of Trump's cabinet members, then you will know that the Democrats have been doing everything within their power to slow down and stall the process. Furthermore, with each successful confirmation, a number of the nominees have been confirmed by the hair of their chinny chin chin.
Why has this been happening? Quite simply, because each and every Senate confirmation vote has for the most part been along party lines, except for a few RINO votes, such as that traitor, Kentucky senator, Mitch McConnell. In other words, the Republicans have been voting in favor, while all of the Democrats have consistently and persistently voted against. With the Secretary of Defense, Pete Hesgeth, it required the vote of Vice President JD Vance to break the tie, being as he is the president of the Senate. So I am certain that we can expect four long years of obstructionism from the Left, just as occurred during President Trump's previous term.
Let me mention here that while I don't trust any politician, not even President Donald J. Trump, at the same time, I will candidly admit that I do like some of the things he has done thus far during the first one hundred days of his term. In particular, I like his handling of the illegal immigration problem, despite incessant howls and whines from the liberal Left. I think he is on the right track, and I hope that he is successful at completing the border wall.
The Democrats can complain all they want, and incessantly tell their sob stories regarding the immigrants who pick our crops and who perform other menial tasks. However, as I note in my article called "What About the Wall?", the bottom line still remains that there is a legal way and an illegal way to enter this country. If foreigners don't wish to enter the legal way, then we have to ask ourselves why this is. Is there something they are trying to hide which might cause them to be rejected at the border?
As a reminder, the Book of Revelation likewise informs us that the Heavenly City is surrounded by a huge wall that is approximately two hundred feet in height. And exactly what purpose does this great wall serve? Quite simply, to keep out rebellious undesirables. So it seems that even our Heavenly Father also understands the importance of border security. Consider the following Bible verses as proof:
"And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel."
"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie."
"But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
"Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
"And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
I likewise appreciate the way that President Trump is making America's allies more accountable, and more responsible for carrying their fair portion of the load, both in a financial sense, as well as in a military sense. As we all know, for far too long, other nations of the world have taken advantage of America's generosity. Exactly how much Trump's trade wars will have a negative effect on the American economy remains to be seen. Of course, the Democrats are all gloom and doom, and are, as expected, resorting to using fear tactics and predicting the very worst -- meaning financial instability and chaos -- if Mr. Trump continues along his current path.
Directly related to the above is Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE. When Mr. Musk fired a huge portion of Twitter employees prior to renaming the platform to X, we heard the very same cries of gloom and doom. "This is the end of Twitter! There is no way that it can possibly continue to operate properly, much less survive!" Yet here we are months later, and the platform is still moving full steam ahead. So the naysayers were obviously very wrong.
As I point out in the article "Is Elon Musk the Antichrist?", just the fact that Mr. Musk is receiving so much criticism from the Left -- such as from liberal Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren -- is a clear sign that not only are they afraid of what Musk and his team might discover, but it is also proof that he and his team are on the right track. In fact, I will say that it is both shocking and appalling to learn about some of the wasteful liberal expenditures from the Biden years which DOGE has already uncovered thus far.
I am also quite happy to see that, unlike the foolish Biden administration which was so persistently pushing the United States closer and closer to a war with Russia, Mr. Trump is seriously working towards bringing about peace with regard to the Russia-Ukraine War. I was just reminded of something that King David wrote in Psalm 120. Consider the following verse:
"My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war."
Regarding the outcome of the Russia-Ukraine War, personally, I remain convinced that Ukraine will probably get the raw end of the deal, because while Mr. Trump is concerned about the death toll, I believe that he is more concerned about his presidential legacy. Thus, he will do everything within his power to keep his campaign promise to end that terrible war as quickly as possible. That will by necessity require undesirable compromises on the part of Ukraine and Volodymyr Zelensky, whether they like it or not. Of course, Zelensky and Europe are already feeling quite offended by the fact that they have been sidelined by the initial peace talks between the United States and Russia.
So those are just some things that I personally agree on with President Trump at this current time. However, please understand that my saying the above things does not negate the opinions I have previously expressed concerning Trump. I still do not fully trust him. I don't particularly care for his personality -- namely his pride, vanity and ego, and his constant childish name-calling. I question the sincerity of his Christian faith, and I wonder how much he may simply be using naive, gullible Christians for the sake of political advantage. At the same time, as I point out in "It Is Time to Wake Up!", unlike certain online crazy Christians, I do NOT believe that Donald J. Trump is the Antichrist. That is just silly and totally contrary to the Scriptures.
While he appears to be choosing a very strong team to help carry forward his agenda, I am nevertheless concerned by the fact that President Trump has surrounded himself with Roman Catholics, Jews, Big Business leaders, Paula White and the Dominionists. These are all alarming signs in my book. While I also very much appreciate the fact that Mr. Trump is endeavoring to reverse the tide with regard to all of the DEI -- Diversity Equity and Inclusion -- nonsense, and while I am particularly pleased to see that he is striving to pull back the reins on ungodly transgenderism, at the same time, allow me to remind my readers that try as you might, you simply cannot legislate righteousness. In other words, true spiritual change must come from the heart. It must be a work of God's Spirit. Personal, or national, goodness cannot be forced upon people just through laws and executive orders alone. After all, with the changing of administrations, said laws and executive orders can be reversed. Then what?
I am again reminded of what happened two dozen years ago on September 11, 2001. Following the sad events that transpired on that fateful day, a lot of Christians were hopeful that said events would serve as a wake-up call for America, and that they would result in repentance on a national level, as occurred with the Jews following their return to the land of Israel after being in servitude in the land of Babylon for a period of seventy years. You can read about it in the Book of Nehemiah. I am also reminded of these verses which are well known to many Christians:
"And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice. If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
"Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people."
Sadly, following 9/11, is that really what happened in our nation? Unless you are blind to what has been going on around you since that time, the clear answer is "No, it did not!" In fact, as is plainly evident everywhere, America has continued going down the merry road and the slippery slope to Hell even worse than ever before.
As a reminder, first, civil unions became acceptable, even though many Americans were opposed to them. But the liberals weren't happy with just that, so they kept pushing for more. Their endeavors eventually resulted in legalized same-sex “marriage” nationwide on June 26, 2015, thanks to misguided Supreme Court justices. Since that time, transgenderism has spread like a horrible disease all across the land, so much so that it has even invaded our education system down to the elementary school level. To our shock and horror, there are some parents who are apparently quite okay with this.
As many of you will know, drag queen story hour is promoted everywhere, and our impressionable children are being groomed and their minds slowly twisted to the wicked and perverse way of thinking that is promoted by the LGBTQ+ crowd. Sadly, this has resulted in some children being placed on hormon blockers. Others take different hormones that will alter their physical appearance. And in extreme cases, even school-aged children are having their breasts and penises removed. It is devilish, and it is utter madness. And who supports all of this? None other than the liberal Left, such as Hollywood elites!
But sadly, it does not end there. We have all watched as the children of darkness have openly flaunted their allegiance to Satan in their music, on television shows, in movies and even during half-time shows at sports events. It is really next to impossible to even get away from it all. The entertainment industry has in essence become the mouthpiece for the Devil! Furthermore, these wicked people openly flaunt their sins in God’s face through ungodly pride parades where men and women shamelessly bear their flesh. It is as if they are purposely challenging God to punish them.
Well, my friends, as I point out in the article "Don't Ever Underestimate Our Spiritual Enemy", they may think that they are getting away with it for now, but some day in His chosen time, I have no doubt that God will rain down His judgments upon our nation, and it may be when they least expect it. If you are personally of the LGBTQ+ persuasion, well I strongly suggest that you read my series called "Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah: A Warning to Modern Society".
Then, of course, there is the political corruption which runs deep on both sides of the isle. Elon Musk and his DOGE team have just begun to uncover some of the corruption. Who knows what yet remains to be discovered in the months ahead as Musk's team continues to dig even deeper into government finances. The way that certain career politicians have used their offices to greatly enrich themselves -- even becoming millionaires -- is just downright shameful! Shame on them!
Add to this the greed of the Big Business sector. While CEOs become richer and even more powerful with each passing year, and squeeze out small mom-and-pop businesses, so many average American citizens struggle just to make ends meet from month to month. I discuss this topic more at length in the series called "What About the Poor?". And while we are at it, let us also not neglect to mention the very corrupt pharmaceutical industry which, working hand-in-hand with corrupt members of the medical profession, make certain that American citizens stay dependent on and strung out on all kinds of dangerous drugs and vaccines which are doing who knows what to our bodies.
As I have mentioned on previous occasions, such as in the article "America: Land of the Free . . . and Hypocrisy!", I likewise find it troubling that the United States of America has apparently taken upon itself the role of being the global policeman of the world. Alarming as it may be, please stop to consider the fact that for the past one hundred and eleven years -- since the start of the First World War on July 28, 1914 -- this country has almost continuously engaged in a war in some part of the world. If you doubt that this is so, then consider the following partial list of enemy nations which have experienced America's military might:
Afghanistan
Germany
Grenada
Iraq
Italy
Japan
Libya
North Korea
Somalia
Southeast Asia
Syria
Vietnam
Yugoslavia
We as a country like to claim that we promote democracy and peace around the world. But is this truly the case? I think that the previous list speaks for itself. As I point out in articles such as "Saddam Hussein's Execution and the Euro Dollar War" and also "Obama, McCain and the Bush Legacy", literally millions of people the world over have suffered, died needlessly, or been maimed, or at the very least have lost their livelihood, thanks to American aggression around the world. National economies have been destroyed. National infrastructure has been destroyed. Yet sadly, some callous people have lightly dismissed this and told me that this is just the tragic byproduct of war. For good reason, just as it was for the ancient Roman Empire, the bald eagle is our national bird. Eagles rip their prey apart. Sound familiar?
Need I continue by discussing human trafficking in America? Or how about other evils such as abortion up until birth, which I discuss at length in the series entitled "Abortion: The Slaughter of the Innocent"? Perhaps we should likewise address the powerful pornography industry which pollutes the hearts and minds of people all across this nation. I amply discuss this embarrassing addiction in the series entitled "Pornography: Flee Youthful Lusts!" As many of my readers will know, alcoholism is yet another evil which has plagued this nation for a very long time, as well as the smoking addiction, which I address in the article called "Light Up and Die: The Smoking Addiction!".
At this point, some of my readers may possibly be thinking to themselves, "Wow, Bill! You really seem to hate America! You have certainly got it out for her!" No, my friends. You misunderstand. It is NOT hate by any means. It is genuine concern. If you are a longtime Bible student, then you will already know what happens when a nation turns its back on God and ignores His holy precepts. If you don't know, then in the Book of Psalms we find the following tragic verse:
"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God."
Furthermore, rather than soft peddling the truth, what this nation needs and requires is strong rebuke, in the hope that it will eventually result in her examining herself, turning herself around, and repenting of her many sins. Again, this is not hate. It is in fact a form of love, because the Book of Proverbs also tells us the following. Consider also what Jesus had to say:
"Open rebuke is better than secret love."
"If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin."
Last of all, we must also by necessity address the spiritual condition of the American church system, which is supposed to be a spiritual beacon for the world. While we may have occupied such a role at one time, can we honestly say that this still remains the case today? Sadly, many churches are now more interested in the night club spirit and in making lots of money. I discuss this latter issue in articles such as "Abundant Life Doctrine: Scripturally Exposed!", and in "Money-Making Bible Hucksters and Mammon". I encourage you to read them when you have the time.
Tragically, many churches act more like the world with each passing year. Either that, or they are too afraid to preach the truth due to fear of offending people and losing their members. Thus, they willingly water down the message. Then there are those churches which have compromised with the LGBTQ+ agenda. How can they even call themselves the Lord's churches when they openly defy His Word due to their own deception? Lastly, we have churches which have been given over to demonic spirits. It is truly alarming to see some of the things which are occurring in some of the churches. They seem to delight in their strange manifestations. This is an issue which I discuss in BBB articles such as "Have You Been Slain in the Spirit?" and "God's Golden Teeth, or Satan's Delusion?". You will find all of these articles listed, with clickable links, at the end of this same article.
My friends, in light of everything I have just shared with you, I believe that it is fair to say that the reality of the situation is that America is in one hell of a mess. She is clearly in open rebellion against God on multiple levels. One would really have to be blind to not see this, or else intentionally deceived. That being the case, I urge you to not be deceived by the current feel-good spirit, or by the false promise of a coming "golden age" in America which is being promoted by the current U.S. president and the MAGA movement.
While I am sure that they are well-meaning, and truly want what is best for the American people, at the same time, and as I mentioned earlier, due to some of the people who are now associated with the MAGA movement, I am concerned about exactly what kind of golden age this will be. Will it really be true, Bible-based Christianity, or something else which appeals to the powerful and the elite? Will it be a worldly type of Christianity which compromises with the world in order to maintain political power?
As I point out in "Don't Ever Underestimate Our Spiritual Enemy", it is my view that if anything, the United States of America is ripe for major judgment from the Lord. Being as I am by no means a Prophet, I obviously cannot say what form said judgment will take, or when said judgment will arrive. However, unless we soon see a clear sign of real national repentance in America, I am convinced that judgment will eventually arrive at some point. Why? Because God loves us, and He is not willing that any should perish. Thus, through chastisement, He will purge us of our sins. Please consider what the Apostles Peter and Paul had to say regarding this subject:
"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:"
"For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?"
"For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape."
"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries."
"It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God . . . For our God is a consuming fire."
Taking into consideration the depth of America's problems on so many different levels, can we, or should we, expect one man -- Trump -- to resolve all of these problems in a period of only four short years? Is this a realistic expectation, or are some of you perhaps simply allowing yourselves to be carried away by the current election victory euphoria? Have some of you unwittingly been overly mesmerized by the MAGA movement with its talk of a golden age? Are you under its spell? We should not underestimate the powerful influence of the MAGA movement.
Let's be honest here, my friends. We all know how much Trump loves to boast. For him, it seems that everything he promises us is big and beautiful. Is it possible that Trump has bitten off more than he can chew this time? Let me remind you that the problems I have discussed in this article developed over many years, and were left to fester for decades. As a result, they are now deeply entrenched in our society. So that being the case, is it even realistic then to believe that President Trump can usher in such a golden age of peace and prosperity, by not only overcoming America's evils, but by overcoming the world's evils as well?
Quite frankly, the Scriptures plainly inform us that it is foolish for us to place our faith and confidence in any human leader, including Donald J. Trump. Perhaps he is very serious regarding trying to resolve both America's problems, and the world's problems as well. That certainly seems to be his real intentions. Perhaps he will resolve some of them during his current term. Nevertheless, I ask you to please remember the following wise counsel which we find in the Book of Psalms:
"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes."
So, my friends, my advice is that you only place your trust in the Lord. Do not allow yourselves to be deceived or blindsided by any human being. Equally important, trust God for the future, both for America, and for the rest of the world as well. Do NOT place your faith in the promises of fallible men, because ultimately, they will usually fail you and leave you disappointed.

In particular, I like his handling of the illegal immigration problem, despite incessant howls and whines from the liberal Left. I think he is on the right track, and I hope that he is successful at completing the border wall.
The Democrats can complain all they want, and incessantly tell their sob stories regarding the immigrants who pick our crops and who perform other menial tasks. However, as I note in my article called "What About the Wall?", the bottom line still remains that there is a legal way and an illegal way to enter this country. If foreigners don't wish to enter the legal way, then we have to ask ourselves why this is. Is there something they are trying to hide which might cause them to be rejected at the border?
As a reminder, the Book of Revelation likewise informs us that the Heavenly City is surrounded by a huge wall that is approximately two hundred feet in height. And exactly what purpose does this great wall serve? Quite simply, to keep out rebellious undesirables. So it seems that even our Heavenly Father also understands the importance of border security. Consider the following Bible verses as proof:
"And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel."

I likewise appreciate the way that President Trump is making America's allies more accountable, and more responsible for carrying their fair portion of the load, both in a financial sense, as well as in a military sense. As we all know, for far too long, other nations of the world have taken advantage of America's generosity. Exactly how much Trump's trade wars will have a negative effect on the American economy remains to be seen. Of course, the Democrats are all gloom and doom, and are, as expected, resorting to using fear tactics and predicting the very worst -- meaning financial instability and chaos -- if Mr. Trump continues along his current path.
Directly related to the above is Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE. When Mr. Musk fired a huge portion of Twitter employees prior to renaming the platform to X, we heard the very same cries of gloom and doom. "This is the end of Twitter! There is no way that it can possibly continue to operate properly, much less survive!" Yet here we are months later, and the platform is still moving full steam ahead. So the naysayers were obviously very wrong.
As I point out in the article "Is Elon Musk the Antichrist?", just the fact that Mr. Musk is receiving so much criticism from the Left -- such as from liberal Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren -- is a clear sign that not only are they afraid of what Musk and his team might discover, but it is also proof that he and his team are on the right track. In fact, I will say that it is both shocking and appalling to learn about some of the wasteful liberal expenditures from the Biden years which DOGE has already uncovered thus far.
I am also quite happy to see that, unlike the foolish Biden administration which was so persistently pushing the United States closer and closer to a war with Russia, Mr. Trump is seriously working towards bringing about peace with regard to the Russia-Ukraine War. I was just reminded of something that King David wrote in Psalm 120. Consider the following verse:
"My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war."

Regarding the outcome of the Russia-Ukraine War, personally, I remain convinced that Ukraine will probably get the raw end of the deal, because while Mr. Trump is concerned about the death toll, I believe that he is more concerned about his presidential legacy. Thus, he will do everything within his power to keep his campaign promise to end that terrible war as quickly as possible. That will by necessity require undesirable compromises on the part of Ukraine and Volodymyr Zelensky, whether they like it or not. Of course, Zelensky and Europe are already feeling quite offended by the fact that they have been sidelined by the initial peace talks between the United States and Russia.
So those are just some things that I personally agree on with President Trump at this current time. However, please understand that my saying the above things does not negate the opinions I have previously expressed concerning Trump. I still do not fully trust him. I don't particularly care for his personality -- namely his pride, vanity and ego, and his constant childish name-calling. I question the sincerity of his Christian faith, and I wonder how much he may simply be using naive, gullible Christians for the sake of political advantage. At the same time, as I point out in "It Is Time to Wake Up!", unlike certain online crazy Christians, I do NOT believe that Donald J. Trump is the Antichrist. That is just silly and totally contrary to the Scriptures.
While he appears to be choosing a very strong team to help carry forward his agenda, I am nevertheless concerned by the fact that President Trump has surrounded himself with Roman Catholics, Jews, Big Business leaders, Paula White and the Dominionists. These are all alarming signs in my book. If you are not familiar with Dominionism, then I encourage you read my article entitled "Beware of Dominionism!", which you will find listed at the end of this same article.
While I also very much appreciate the fact that Mr. Trump is endeavoring to reverse the tide with regard to all of the DEI -- Diversity Equity and Inclusion -- nonsense, and while I am particularly pleased to see that he is striving to pull back the reins on ungodly transgenderism, at the same time, allow me to remind my readers that try as you might, you simply cannot legislate righteousness. In other words, true spiritual change must come from the heart. It must be a work of God's Spirit. Personal, or national, goodness cannot be forced upon people just through laws and executive orders alone. After all, with the changing of administrations, said laws and executive orders can be reversed. Then what?
I am again reminded of what happened two dozen years ago on September 11, 2001. Following the sad events that transpired on that fateful day, a lot of Christians were hopeful that said events would serve as a wake-up call for America, and that they would result in repentance on a national level, as occurred with the Jews following their return to the land of Israel after being in servitude in the land of Babylon for a period of seventy years. You can read about it in the Book of Nehemiah. I am also reminded of these verses which are well known to many Christians:
"And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice. If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Sadly, following 9/11, is that really what happened in our nation? Unless you are blind to what has been going on around you since that time, the clear answer is "No, it did not!" In fact, as is plainly evident everywhere, America has continued going down the merry road and the slippery slope to Hell even worse than ever before.
As a reminder, first, civil unions became acceptable, even though many Americans were opposed to them. But the liberals weren't happy with just that, so they kept pushing for more. Their endeavors eventually resulted in legalized same-sex “marriage” nationwide on June 26, 2015, thanks to misguided Supreme Court justices. Since that time, transgenderism has spread like a horrible disease all across the land, so much so that it has even invaded our education system down to the elementary school level. To our shock and horror, there are some parents who are apparently quite okay with this.
As many of you will know, drag queen story hour is promoted everywhere, and our impressionable children are being groomed and their minds slowly twisted to the wicked and perverse way of thinking that is promoted by the LGBTQ+ crowd. Sadly, this has resulted in some children being placed on hormon blockers. Others take different hormones that will alter their physical appearance. And in extreme cases, even school-aged children are having their breasts and penises removed. It is devilish, and it is utter madness. And who supports all of this? None other than the liberal Left, such as Hollywood elites!
But sadly, it does not end there. We have all watched as the children of darkness have openly flaunted their allegiance to Satan in their music, on television shows, in movies and even during half-time shows at sports events. It is really next to impossible to even get away from it all. The entertainment industry has in essence become the mouthpiece for the Devil! Furthermore, these wicked people openly flaunt their sins in God’s face through ungodly pride parades where men and women shamelessly bear their flesh. It is as if they are purposely challenging God to punish them.
Well, my friends, as I point out in the article "Don't Ever Underestimate Our Spiritual Enemy", they may think that they are getting away with it for now, but some day in His chosen time, I have no doubt that God will rain down His judgments upon our nation, and it may be when they least expect it. If you are personally of the LGBTQ+ persuasion, well I strongly suggest that you read my series called "Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah: A Warning to Modern Society".
Then, of course, there is the political corruption which runs deep on both sides of the isle. Elon Musk and his DOGE team have just begun to uncover some of the corruption. Who knows what yet remains to be discovered in the months ahead as Musk's team continues to dig even deeper into government finances. The way that certain career politicians have used their offices to greatly enrich themselves -- even becoming millionaires -- is just downright shameful! Shame on them!
Add to this the greed of the Big Business sector. While CEOs become richer and even more powerful with each passing year, and squeeze out small mom-and-pop businesses, so many average American citizens struggle just to make ends meet from month to month. I discuss this topic more at length in the series called "What About the Poor?". And while we are at it, let us also not neglect to mention the very corrupt pharmaceutical industry which, working hand-in-hand with corrupt members of the medical profession, make certain that American citizens stay dependent on and strung out on all kinds of dangerous drugs and vaccines which are doing who knows what to our bodies.
As I have mentioned on previous occasions, such as in the article "America: Land of the Free . . . and Hypocrisy!", I likewise find it troubling that the United States of America has apparently taken upon itself the role of being the global policeman of the world. Alarming as it may be, please stop to consider the fact that for the past one hundred and eleven years -- since the start of the First World War on July 28, 1914 -- this country has almost continuously engaged in a war in some part of the world. If you doubt that this is so, then consider the following partial list of enemy nations which have experienced America's military might:
Afghanistan
Germany
Grenada
Iraq
Italy
Japan
Libya
North Korea
Somalia
Southeast Asia
Syria
Vietnam
Yugoslavia
We as a country like to claim that we promote democracy and peace around the world. But is this truly the case? I think that the previous list speaks for itself. As I point out in articles such as "Saddam Hussein's Execution and the Euro Dollar War" and also "Obama, McCain and the Bush Legacy", literally millions of people the world over have suffered, died needlessly, or been maimed, or at the very least have lost their livelihood, thanks to American aggression around the world. National economies have been destroyed. National infrastructure has been destroyed. Yet sadly, some callous people have lightly dismissed this and told me that this is just the tragic byproduct of war. For good reason, just as it was for the ancient Roman Empire, the bald eagle is our national bird. Eagles rip their prey apart. Sound familiar?
Need I continue by discussing human trafficking in America? Or how about other evils such as abortion up until birth, which I discuss at length in the series entitled "Abortion: The Slaughter of the Innocent"? Perhaps we should likewise address the powerful pornography industry which pollutes the hearts and minds of people all across this nation. I amply discuss this embarrassing addiction in the series entitled "Pornography: Flee Youthful Lusts!" As many of my readers will know, alcoholism is yet another evil which has plagued this nation for a very long time, as well as the smoking addiction, which I address in the article called "Light Up and Die: The Smoking Addiction!".
At this point, some of my readers may possibly be thinking to themselves, "Wow, Bill! You really seem to hate America! You have certainly got it out for her!" No, my friends. You misunderstand. It is NOT hate by any means. It is genuine concern. If you are a longtime Bible student, then you will already know what happens when a nation turns its back on God and ignores His holy precepts. If you don't know, then in the Book of Psalms we find the following tragic verse:
"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God."
Psalm 9:17, KJV
Furthermore, rather than soft peddling the truth, what this nation needs and requires is strong rebuke, in the hope that it will eventually result in her examining herself, turning herself around, and repenting of her many sins. Again, this is not hate. It is in fact a form of love, because the Book of Proverbs also tells us the following. Consider also what Jesus had to say:
"Open rebuke is better than secret love."
Proverbs 27:5, KJV
"If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin."
John 15:22, KJV
Last of all, we must also by necessity address the spiritual condition of the American church system, which is supposed to be a spiritual beacon for the world. While we may have occupied such a role at one time, can we honestly say that this still remains the case today? Sadly, many churches are now more interested in the night club spirit and in making lots of money. I discuss this latter issue in articles such as "Abundant Life Doctrine: Scripturally Exposed!", and in "Money-Making Bible Hucksters and Mammon". I encourage you to read them when you have the time.
Tragically, many churches act more like the world with each passing year. Either that, or they are too afraid to preach the truth due to fear of offending people and losing their members. Thus, they willingly water down the message. Then there are those churches which have compromised with the LGBTQ+ agenda. How can they even call themselves the Lord's churches when they openly defy His Word due to their own deception? Lastly, we have churches which have been given over to demonic spirits. It is truly alarming to see some of the things which are occurring in some of the churches. They seem to delight in their strange manifestations. This is an issue which I discuss in BBB articles such as "Have You Been Slain in the Spirit?" and "God's Golden Teeth, or Satan's Delusion?". You will find all of these articles listed, with clickable links, at the end of this same article.
My friends, in light of everything I have just shared with you, I believe that it is fair to say that the reality of the situation is that America is in one hell of a mess. She is clearly in open rebellion against God on multiple levels. One would really have to be blind to not see this, or else intentionally deceived. That being the case, I urge you to not be deceived by the current feel-good spirit, or by the false promise of a coming "golden age" in America which is being promoted by the current U.S. president and the MAGA movement.
While I am sure that they are well-meaning, and truly want what is best for the American people, at the same time, and as I mentioned earlier, due to some of the people who are now associated with the MAGA movement, I am concerned about exactly what kind of golden age this will be. Will it really be true, Bible-based Christianity, or something else which appeals to the powerful and the elite? Will it be a worldly type of Christianity which compromises with the world in order to maintain political power?
As I point out in "Don't Ever Underestimate Our Spiritual Enemy", it is my view that if anything, the United States of America is ripe for major judgment from the Lord. Being as I am by no means a Prophet, I obviously cannot say what form said judgment will take, or when said judgment will arrive. However, unless we soon see a clear sign of real national repentance in America, I am convinced that judgment will eventually arrive at some point. Why? Because God loves us, and He is not willing that any should perish. Thus, through chastisement, He will purge us of our sins. Please consider what the Apostles Peter and Paul had to say regarding this subject:
"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
2 Peter 3:9, KJV
"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:"
Acts 17:30, KJV
"For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?"

"For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape."

"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries."

Taking into consideration the depth of America's problems on so many different levels, can we, or should we, expect one man -- Trump -- to resolve all of these problems in a period of only four short years? Is this a realistic expectation, or are some of you perhaps simply allowing yourselves to be carried away by the current election victory euphoria? Have some of you unwittingly been overly mesmerized by the MAGA movement with its talk of a golden age? Are you under its spell? We should not underestimate the powerful influence of the MAGA movement.
Let's be honest here, my friends. We all know how much Trump loves to boast. For him, it seems that everything he promises us is big and beautiful. Is it possible that Trump has bitten off more than he can chew this time? Let me remind you that the problems I have discussed in this article developed over many years, and were left to fester for decades. As a result, they are now deeply entrenched in our society. So that being the case, is it even realistic then to believe that President Trump can usher in such a golden age of peace and prosperity, by not only overcoming America's evils, but by overcoming the world's evils as well?
Quite frankly, the Scriptures plainly inform us that it is foolish for us to place our faith and confidence in any human leader, including Donald J. Trump. Perhaps he is very serious regarding trying to resolve both America's problems, and the world's problems as well. That certainly seems to be his real intentions. Perhaps he will resolve some of them during his current term. Nevertheless, I ask you to please remember the following wise counsel which we find in the Book of Psalms:
"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes."
Psalm 118:8-9, KJV
So, my friends, my advice is that you only place your trust in the Lord. Do not allow yourselves to be deceived or blindsided by any human being. Equally important, trust God for the future, both for America, and for the rest of the world as well. Do NOT place your faith in the promises of fallible men, because ultimately, they will usually fail you and leave you disappointed.
