As I mention in a number of other articles, such as "It Is Time to Wake Up!", my friends, I am growing rather tired of seeing so much nonsense being promoted on the social networks when it comes to the issue of Bible prophecy. If you are a regular denizen of the online world, then you will no doubt be quite aware of what I am talking about. It is everywhere. It seems that whenever there is a new election cycle in the United States of America, there is a sudden flare-up of this kind of stuff. It is like clockwork. This fact alone should be a clear sign to many of you of just how much this kind of ridiculous talk is politically motivated. Sadly, some of you apparently still just don't get it.

It comes as no surprise then -- at least not to me personally -- that with the recent 2024 U.S. presidential election, the level of nonsensical statements which are being promoted on the social networks has clearly switched into high gear once again. Thus, here I go again having to address this issue. I have written about this very same subject before in articles such as "Facebook False Prophets and Misguided Teachers", a link for which you will find at the end of this same article.

I don't want to be overly redundant or repetitive, but let me just say a few things I have said before. First of all, I am aware of the fact that some of my online friends are probably a lot younger than I am in a biological sense. In fact, maybe some of you are younger in a spiritual sense as well. That is to say, in how long you have known the Lord. That being the case, it's understandable that some of you may not yet have a very strong foundation in God's Word. Furthermore, it is also probable that your level of wisdom and spiritual discernment has not yet been fully developed.

Please understand that I am not saying these things so as to in any way place myself over any of you. In other words, it's not my desire to come across as being condescending. I'm just stating what are the obvious facts. Stated another way, every one of us has to start somewhere in our walk with the Lord. As the years slowly pass, we grow spiritually in our wisdom, in our level of spiritual discernment, and in our knowledge and understanding of God's Word. None of us start out being spiritual giants.

In short, it's simply a natural process which all Christians go through, right? As a result, we are not all at the same level. Mind you, this not something to be ashamed about, or to gloat about either. In fact, in the Gospel of Luke, we discover that even Jesus went through the very same growth process. Consider the following Bible verses which discuss this very same topic of spiritual growth and maturity:

"And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man."
Luke 2:52, KJV

"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."
1 Corinthians 13:11, KJV

"As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, THAT YE MAY GROW THEREBY:"
1 Peter 2:2, KJV

"Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. But GROW IN GRACE, AND IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen."
2 Peter 3:17-18, KJV

"Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, BUT IN UNDERSTANDING BE MEN."
1 Corinthians 14:20, KJV

"As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, AND STABLISHED IN THE FAITH, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving."
Colossians 2:6-7, KJV

"Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, MAY GROW UP INTO HIM IN ALL THINGS, which is the head, even Christ."
Ephesians 4:13-15, KJV

"Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is RENEWED IN KNOWLEDGE after the image of him that created him:"
Colossians 3:9-10, KJV

"For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."
Hebrews 5:12-14, KJV

So my point in sharing all of the previous verses with you is to say that I understand why some of you -- particularly those of you who are still young in our Christian faith -- may be doctrinally confused regarding certain topics which are related to Bible prophecy. Furthermore, it reminds me to endeavor to remain patient whenever I see some of you posting some rather crazy things online. I will be the first to admit that Bible prophecy is in fact a difficult area to grasp when it comes to Bible study. I am not ashamed to admit that even I still struggle with some parts of it. In fact, that is one of the reasons why I wrote my article entitled "Humility in Our Understanding of God's Word", which I encourage you to read when you have time.

Please note that my previous words are directed to those of you who are still young in the faith. Sadly, the problem is that there exists another group of online Christians who are much older in both a physical and a spiritual sense, and who, similar to myself, have been studying the Scriptures for a very long time. Concerning these folks, honestly speaking, I simply find it inexcusable that they are promoting some of the very same misguided nonsense as their younger brethren.

My dear friends, if you are guilty of doing this, given your age, you should know better by now. Furthermore, you need to stop promoting all of these erroneous and rather outlandish interpretations of Bible prophecy and man-made doctrines. It is important that you understand and realize that by doing this, you are in fact deceiving God's sheep, and in certain cases, you may be seriously leading them astray from the truth of God's Word. Furthermore, you are confusing them. Do you really want that on your plate when you stand before the Lord someday?

Having now shared with you all the above, now we get to the main point of this current article. As I said earlier, every time the US presidential election cycle rolls around, almost as if on cue, these wild predictions, Bible interpretations and crazy theories raise their ugly head. This time has been no different. The politically-motivated rumormongers are at it again. It was in fact the latest manifestations of this online disease which compelled me to write my aforementioned article called "It is Time to Wake Up!".

As I mention in it, an online rumor has been spreading for some time now which erroneously claims that President Donald J. Trump is the Antichrist. I am sure that the Christians who are promoting that crazy theory are absolutely convinced in their hearts that they are speaking the Scriptural truth, and they probably believe that they're doing the right thing. But what they fail to realize is that they are being manipulated by forces who wish to hamper, hinder and obstruct President Trump who, if you truly believe the Scriptures, was set up by God himself. If you doubt that this is so, then I ask you to please consider the following group of verses:

"Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck. For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another."
Psalms 75:5-7, KJV

"Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:"
Daniel 2:20-21, KJV

"This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men."
Daniel 4:17, KJV

"I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me."
Jeremiah 27:5, KJV

"For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice. Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD. And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel."
1 Samuel 15:23-26, KJV

"And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost."
Acts 12:21-23, KJV

"The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will."
Proverbs 21:1, KJV

So let me ask you a simple question. If God remains in total control of His creation, and if He gives the kingdoms of the world to certain people -- whether good or evil -- in order to fulfill His divine purposes, does that not mean that to speak against one of such leaders is actually to work against God's Will? I will just leave this thought here for you to ponder for a while.

At any rate, having addressed this issue in the aforementioned article, I assumed that I had said enough, only to discover a few days ago that another new rumor is now being circulated by certain online Christians. In fact, one particular Christian brother is quite obsessed about it; so much so that I finally got so tired of seeing his misguided nonsense appearing in my news feed, that I decided to unfriend him, sad to say. I tried to set him straight via a comment underneath one of his posts, but he never even responded to it.

So exactly what is this latest online rumor which has forced me to write yet another article concerning this subject? The answer is obviously found in this article's very title. As some of you have probably already read or heard, supposedly, Elon Musk is the nefarious Antichrist of which the Scriptures speak. Now if some of you cannot see how this is just another politically motivated rumor meant to weaken, tear apart and destroy the Trump administration -- which has barely got its feet on the ground -- I honestly don't know what to tell you.

If you've been paying the least bit of attention to the news, then you will know that the American liberal Left is going absolutely ballistic. I mean their heads are exploding, and they are going through the roof! Not just because Mr. Trump totally crushed Kamala Harris by not only winning both the popular vote and the electoral vote, and by winning every single swing state; but also because Trump is right now in the process of forming a very powerful cabinet which will destroy the power of the liberal Left and the Deep State. That is, if they keep their promises to their constituents, which thus far they appear to be doing.

As you may know, to date, every single one of Mr. Trump's nominees has been confirmed by the US Senate, even though it has been along party lines. Why? Because as I have been telling my friends for some time now, ever since Trump won the 2024 presidential election, the key operative word of the Democratic Party has been OBSTRUCTION; and they will continue to obstruct for the next four years. So it comes as no surprise that with these current nominations, votes on both sides of the isle are being cast along party lines.

Despite this obstructionism by the Democrats, the simple fact of the matter is that the Republicans hold a small majority. Thus, as long as they all stick together -- except for a few RINOS -- all of President Trump's nominees will eventually sail through the confirmation process. And in cases where the vote is tied, as president of the Senate, Vice President JD Vance has the swing vote to get Mr. Trump's nominees over the top. In short, it is all political circus, no matter how the Democrats try to paint it. They can stall all they want and throw up roadblocks; but in the end, they will still lose.

But returning to Elon Musk, being as he is the head of DOGE -- Department of Government Efficiency -- the Democrats are going after him tooth and nail, and demonizing both him and his four-man team of young tech wizards. They are absolutely out for blood, because Elon Musk and his team have already uncovered many millions of dollars of misappropriated and wasted government funds, which were craftily hidden by the Biden Administration. So is it really any wonder that there are currently a number of outlandish rumors in circulation which are being used to try to take down Musk and DOGE? Is it possible that the "Musk is the Antichrist" rumor is just another facet of this takedown campaign by the Democrats? I will leave it up to you to decide for yourself.

But concerning my personal opinion, my dear friends, let me just say that the idea that Elon Musk -- the head of SpaceX, Tesla, the X platform, and Neuralink -- is the dark, wicked Biblical figure known to Christians as the Antichrist or the Beast, is quite simply seriously misguided. It is also just total nonsense. While it is a well-known fact that Elon Musk is not a Christian, from a few videos I have seen, and some of his own comments I have read on the X platform, I do know that Musk does respect the teachings of Jesus Christ to some degree. In one particular 2024 interview, he said that he is a "big believer in the principles of Christianity." On his X platform last year, he also wrote "Unless there is more bravery to stand up for what is fair and right, Christianity will perish." Yes, I know that is not saying a lot, but at least it is something, and a start.

Who knows. Perhaps someday in the future, that tiny seed of faith in his life will lead to something even greater; God willing, even his Salvation. Let's hope so. Time will tell. Look at it this way. If God was able to change the heart of a self-righteous, zealous, Christian persecutor such as the Apostle Paul, then surely He can also change the heart of a man who wore a costume to Heidi Klum's 2022 annual Halloween party in New York, which bore an inverted cross and an image of Baphomet on his chest. For those of you who may possibly be curious about that, I discovered that Musk's costume is called the "Devil's Champion - Leather Armor Set" and can be purchased at the legendary NYC costume store "Abracadabra" The price? Believe it or not, a whopping $7,500, according to the store's website. The devilish costume can likewise be rented for $1,000.

Considering that I have personally admired Musk for his very obvious intelligence, not to mention his many accomplishments in various technological fields, I will admit that I too was really taken back by that image of Musk in that evil costume when I first came across it in 2024. In fact, it entirely changed my perspective concerning him. Nevertheless, despite his childish foolishness in wearing that wicked costume, I still find him to be a very interesting character, and I am not just going to write him off because of it. Again, let me remind you that God can change any person if doing so is a part of His divine plans. Nothing is impossible With God.

In addition, I am not going to jump on the bandwagon, and go around foolishly claiming that Musk is the Antichrist. Being as I discuss the Antichrist in a number of my other articles, I will not be going into a lot of detail here. Suffice it to say that, in my view and understanding, there are too many Scriptural reasons regarding why Elon Musk is most definitely not the notorious Antichrist. If you want to know what those reasons are, then I encourage you to read some of my other articles on the Bill's Bible Basics website.

Those reasons aside, as I mentioned earlier in this article, let us also not ignore the fact that a lot of other equally misguided Christians are likewise simultaneously and rather erroneously making the claim that President Donald Trump is the Antichrist. Now wait just one minute! How can they both be the Antichrist? It isn't difficult to see that there is something seriously wrong with these rumors that are being circulated by these confused Christians.

Oh, but just wait! It seems that we need to scratch both of those ideas from the realm of possibilities. After all, for those of you who have a short memory, let us not be too quick to forget that there are likewise some deceived Christians who still foolishly insist that former US president Barack Obama is the Antichrist. These same people also continue to foolishly claim that Obamacare is the infamous Mark of the Beast. So tell me, is the Antichrist Barack Obama, or is it Donald J. Trump, or is it Elon Musk? It is already starting to get confusing, isn't it?

Oh my! Please wait once again! That cannot possibly be right either. After all, how can either Obama, Trump or Musk be the Antichrist when certain people also still insist that former Prince Charles -- now King Charles III of Great Britain -- is most definitely the Antichrist? Man, this entire claim is just REALLY getting too confusing!

Now wait just one minute! It just occurred to me that it was only a few decades ago that some misguided people were also saying that ex-Beatle John Lennon was surely the Antichrist. I mean, my gosh, with such an anti-Christian song like his "Imagine", John Lennon just had to be the Antichrist, right?

Hmmm. No, that cannot possibly be right either. After all, we have got that Lord Maitreya fellow living over there in jolly old London, England. Or is that in Nairobi, Kenya? I likewise heard that he is in some Middle Eastern country. It is hard to keep track of these false messiah characters, isn't it?

But you know what? All of the above possibilities have to be totally wrong. Do you know why? Well, because other people are rather convinced that Nazi leader Adolf Hitler was the Antichrist.

And on and on the misguided rumors go, my friends. My gosh! Will the real Antichrist please stand up?! So do you get my point yet? You can fill in the blank with a lot of different names, as so many Christians have done over the decades, and you will still end up empty-handed and deceived. Worse yet, as I mentioned earlier, just as so many misguided Christians are still doing today, you will begin foolishly promoting your misguided ideas with others, so that they too become deceived. As the Apostles Peter, John and Paul wisely wrote:

"But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."
2 Timothy 3:13, KJV

"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;"
1 Timothy 4:1-2, KJV

"And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know."
1 Corinthians 8:2, KJV

"From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm."
1 Timothy 1:6-7, KJV

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;"
2 Timothy 4:3, KJV

"If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself."
1 Timothy 6:3-5, KJV

"But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction."
2 Peter 2:1, KJV

"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."
1 John 4:1, KJV

My dear friends, in light of all of the previous Scriptural admonitions, isn't it time to just lay off of all of these foolish personal conjectures, nonsensical theories and very misguided Bible interpretations and give it a rest?

Before concluding this article, I would like to include a short, personal message addressed to Elon Musk:

Mr. Musk, I don't know if you will ever read, or even care to read, this article of mine. I am sure you have probably already read a lot of stuff, both online and offline, where you have been lambasted by Christians for wearing the red "Devil's Champion" costume. You are a very intelligent man, Mr. Musk. It goes without saying. You are certainly a great visionary, similar to Steve Jobs. Your accomplishments in the technology fields are to be lauded. Yet despite all of your fame and fortune, sir, you are still seriously lacking in one thing. I know that you do respect the teachings of Jesus Christ, so allow me to share just one of His teachings with you for your personal consideration:

"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"
Mark 8:36-37, KJV

I am sure that the meaning of those two verses is clear to you. But if not, I invite you to read my article entitled "Going Down the Highway of Life" in order to acquire a much deeper understanding of what they mean. You will find the article at the following URL:

Going Down the Highway of Life

Another related article is entitled "Have You Sold Your Soul for a Pound of Flesh?", which you will find at this URL:

Have You Sold Your Soul for a Pound of Flesh?

Mr. Musk, let them speak to your heart.

With these thoughts, I will bring this article to a close. It is my hope that you've found it informative and enlightening, and I pray that it has been a blessing in your life as well.
