Prior to reading the following article, allow me to offer you a suggestion. If you are not familiar with the tragic 1997 events surrounding the Heaven's Gate UFO cult, please consider reading my original 1997 three-part series entitled Heaven's Gate, Suicide and Other Death Cults first. While it isn't absolutely necessary that you read the series first, nevertheless, doing so will make the following commentary a lot more meaningful to you.

Having said that, what if I were to tell you that, quite by accident, and perhaps unbeknownst to the rest of the world, I have discovered certain evidence which strongly suggests that the Heaven's Gate UFO cult may have either unknowingly, or intentionally, employed the use of subliminal messages in some of their group's graphic work? No, I am not some crazy, attention-seeking conspiracy theorist who is just trying to gain an audience. Trust me; my longtime readers will realize that I am more responsible than that, and that I would not make such a claim unless I was in possession of some rather strong evidence which supports my conjecture. Exactly what kind of strong evidence am I referring to? Read on and find out. You may be surprised, and may end up asking yourself "Now, why didn't I ever see that?"

While some of my younger readers may not be familiar with the Heaven's Gate UFO cult, many of you who were at least in your teens at that time will no doubt recognize the following image of what the Heaven's Gate cult members purported to be "a Member of the Kingdom of Heaven":



In addition to the previous image of an alleged "Member of the Kingdom of Heaven", another image which became popular following the sad 1997 events which occurred in the upscale community of Rancho Santa Fe, San Diego County, California, USA, is that of the Heaven's Gate logo. This image -- which you can see below -- has been scrutinized by an undetermined number of people. Having done so, some people have concluded that the diagonal line of three stars that is located on the right side of the star field represents a horizontal view of the famous constellation of Orion.



On a side note, it might also interest you to know that the constellation of Orion the Hunter is mentioned three times by name in the Old Testament of the King James Version of the Bible, along with the Pleiades star cluster -- which is also known as the Seven Sisters due to the magnitude of the seven brightest stars -- and Arcturus, which is one of the brightest stars in the night sky. Consider the following verses:

"Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south."


"Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?"


"Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:"


Certain people have also theorized that the large letter "G" which forms the topmost section of the keyhole -- or gate -- may possibly represent the so-called "Masonic G". According to Masonic doctrine, the Masonic G "reminds us that our every act is done in the sight of the Great Architect of the Universe". According to the Masonic Lodge of Education, the letter "G" represents the Hebrew letter Gheemel -- or Gimel -- which, according to Hebrew Gematria, is assigned the numerical value of three. Furthermore, the Masonic Lodge of Education notes that "the letter "G" stands for "Geometry", which is the mathematical science upon which Architecture and Masonry were founded."

The low-quality image of the Heaven's Gate logo that you see above was acquired from the Wikipedia website. It can also be found on a number of other websites as well. While I was hoping to find a better quality image in order to satisfy my own curiosity, it seems that this is the only image that is currently available on the web in this particular form. Let me also inform you that I haven't manipulated or altered the individual elements of this image in any way. If you want, you can download the image for yourself, and perform the very same simple manipulations that I will be describing to you momentarily, and you will discover that you will end up with the same interesting results.

As I said, quite by accident, I discovered something rather unusual in the above image. It was not something that I was intentionally looking for. The way that I made my discovery was in the following manner. Yesterday, while adding certain HTML enhancements to our Bill's Bible Basics website, I was inspired to create some new graphics for the slideshow which appears at the top of our website's home page. These images represent different themes and topics which I discuss in my articles here on the Bill's Bible Basics website. One of the new graphics for the slideshow was to involve the above two images; that is, the so-called "Member of the Kingdom of Heaven", as well as the Heaven's Gate logo.

So, I proceeded to open both of the aforementioned images in Adobe Photoshop. Because of the dimensions of the Bill's Bible Basics slideshow, I had to increase the canvas size of the Heaven's Gate logo graphic, and fill in the background with additional data. Rather than use Photoshop's excellent "content-fill" feature, it was at that point that I decided to horizontally flip the logo image in order to extend the star field, the brown-tinged planet and the rings that can be seen to circle around the planet. Upon doing this, and then pasting in the reversed image to the left of the first image, I was quite surprised, because I immediately noticed that something rather odd appeared to have been created by joining the two halves of the planet together. Observe for yourself. It is very difficult to miss:



I immediately realized that I had just discovered something in the Heaven's Gate graphic which -- to my knowledge -- has never been discussed before on the Internet, even though the image has been available for over thirteen years now. So in my excitement, the first thing that I did was to immediately flip the double image vertically, in order to verify what my eyes appeared to be seeing, and below is the result for your own consideration:



It doesn't require very much imagination to clearly see the alien-looking face -- what UFO advocates would identify as a typical, almond-eyed, bulbous-headed Zeta Reticulan -- which seems to blend into a dark pyramid in the background. If you are aware of the many conversations that occur within New Age and UFO circles, then you will no doubt be familiar with the connections that are sometimes made between the three stars which form the belt of Orion, the three pyramids that are located at Giza, Egypt and extraterrestrial beings.

Furthermore, what were previously rings around the planet, now appear as light rays which emanate from the horizon on both the left and right sides of the pyramid, as if there are two setting suns. This immediately reminded me of the chatter that has been occurring for many years now within New Age and UFOlogy circles regarding Zecharia Sitchin's alleged planet Nibiru and what has been referred to as the so-called "Double Sun". While it is commonly accepted by academia that the pyramids were constructed by the ancient Egyptians and their slaves -- such as the Hebrews who were enslaved for four hundred years up until the time of Moses -- there exists another school of thought -- if we can even call it that -- which has proposed that if the Great Pyramid of Khufu at Giza wasn't constructed by alien beings, then maybe it may have really been built by the Biblical Patriarch Enoch, who within esoteric circles has also been connected to the so-called "Keys of Enoch". If you are familiar with the Stargate film and television program franchise, you will obviously recognize another connection which is made between the keyhole -- or gate -- which forms the central section of the Heaven's Gate logo, and so-called alien technology.

The key point to be made here, is that once we place two copies of the Heaven's Gate logo side-by-side, all five of these New Age and UFO elements -- Orion's Belt, the Great Pyramid at Giza, the "Zeta Reticulan" alien, the "Double Sun" and the "Keys of Enoch" -- are present in the combined image. Furthermore, what were previously the stars in the sky, now seem to be the city lights of a great metropolis which surrounds the Great Pyramid; and right in the middle of it all is the "alien" being who is hiding in the shadows, as if he controls it all. Now, is that merely a coincidence, or was it perhaps intentional?

Now, obviously, some people are going to choose to adopt the attitude that the graphic artist who designed the Heaven's Gate logo was somewhat of a prankster, and was simply having a little bit of fun. Perhaps concealing a partial alien face and pyramid in the image was his way of adding his signature to the graphic. Programmers -- and virus writers - do this all the time. They will leave little hints here and there in their code, as sort of a status symbol.

Then there will be those people who agree that the appearance of the "alien" being set against a pyramid in the background is merely a coincidence, and results from the various colors and shadows which the artist used when he created the planet. Personally, I am not so certain of this. Of course, in even writing about this, I can't help but recall the controversy which surrounded Richard Hogan, Cydonia, Mars and the Face on Mars over a decade ago. The difference between the two events -- at least in my view -- is that while the so-called Face on Mars was millions of miles away, the Heaven's Gate logo was created by a human, living here on Planet Earth, who may very well have had ulterior motives when he designed the logo for Heaven's Gate. Can I absolutely prove this? Obviously not.

Concerning the actual graphic artist who designed the logo, according to a brief article that appeared on page twelve of the April 28, 1997 edition of New York Magazine, attorney Robert Zakari claimed that his client -- Richard Ford, who had been known in the Heaven's Gate cult as Rio D'Angelo -- designed both the Heaven's Gate logo, as well as the Higher Source website, which served as a source of income for the cult. Mr. Ford -- or Rio D'Angelo if you prefer -- claimed, and continues to claim, that he was personally chosen by Marshall Applewhite -- the cult's leader -- to stay behind, that is, to not commit suicide with the other cult members, in order that he might disseminate the cult's message to the world, after the others had supposedly advanced to the next level of existence through their ghoulish act of mass suicide.

Let me insert here that the Heaven's Gate UFO cult members did not view taking their own lives by ingesting a cocktail of lethal drugs and vodka as suicide. According to Mr. Ford, he and the other Heaven's Gate cult members were strongly opposed to suicide. Furthermore, they referred to their act as voluntarily exiting this life, in order to advance to the next level of existence in the spiritual realm. They viewed their flesh bodies as merely temporary shells, containers or vessels which housed their spirits. If you are a Christian, then you will probably recognize that the Bible teaches us basically the same thing. For example, the Apostle Paul had this to say:

"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s."


Of course, as I explain in Heaven's Gate, Suicide and Other Death Cults, the problem is that nowhere do the Scriptures instruct us to take our own lives, in order that we might more quickly advance to the Realm of the Spirit; and no one in the New Testament is recorded as having ever taken such drastic action.

Let me also mention here that while Rio D'Angelo has often been billed as being the lone survivor of the Heaven's Gate UFO cult, and has even promoted himself as such, this is really a deceptive statement. Not only was D'Angelo not the lone survivor, but he was not a survivor at all, according to the online information which I have read. While no other Heaven's Gate cult members have come forward to this day as far as I know, this does not necessarily mean that they do not exist. Perhaps they have simply chosen to remain low key in order to avoid unwanted attention, embarrassment and the stigma which might accompany their being exposed as former members of the cult. Wouldn't you choose to do the same thing if you had been a member of Heaven's Gate?

Furthermore, Mr. Ford shouldn't be referred to as a survivor, because he was not even at the Rancho Santa Fe mansion at the time that the suicides occurred. He had in fact left the cult at least a month earlier, and was paid a small sum of money by the cult at the time of his exit from the group. What also casts a shadow upon Rio D'Angelo's claims and intentions is the fact that shortly after the gruesome mass suicide became public knowledge, he attempted to financially capitalize on the sensationalistic news by seeking to acquire a television movie contract, which never actually materialized, as well as by trying to sell his video -- which recorded the discovery of the thirty-nine corpses -- to the mass media. At any rate, below is a screen capture of the New York Magazine article:



Considering how easily the image of the "alien" can be seen once the two logo images are placed side-by-side and flipped vertically, it's difficult for me to accept that the presence of this "alien" face set against the pyramid background, was not intentional on Ford's part; that is, assuming that he is the real author of the logo. It is almost as if it was placed there, just waiting to be discovered by someone. What do you think?

So, putting myself out on a limb, I am going to suggest that perhaps the semi-hidden "alien" and pyramid were only meant to be seen and understood by certain people on a subconscious level. In other words, is it possible that certain members of the Heaven's Gate cult would know to double up the logo image in order to receive the "full message"?

Why would they know to do this?

Well, perhaps one reason is because the demented leaders of the Heaven's Gate UFO cult -- Marshall Applewhite and Bonnie Nettles -- had a propensity for playing exactly this sort of mind game with their followers. They certainly seemed to be fascinated by the idea of matching pairs. For example, during the lifetime of their cult, they referred to themselves at different times as "The Two", "The UFO Two", "Bo and Peep" and "Ti and Do". It seems to me then that this same kind of thinking might possibly be reflected in the mind of whoever created the Heaven's Gate logo. Assuming that it was Richard Ford -- a.k.a. Rio D'Angelo -- perhaps he purposely created just half of the planet, with half of an "alien" face, so that other Heaven's Gate members could work at it and figure it out on their own. Who knows.

I do not know what has become of Ford. I was able to trace his whereabouts online up until 2007. He may be working in the Los Angeles area. If he happens to eventually read this article, I suspect that he will react in either one of two ways. Either he will have a good laugh and simply dismiss me as someone who has a very good imagination -- even though the "alien" creature is in plain view in my opinion -- or perhaps he will have a good chuckle and say "Oops; someone finally figured out my puzzle!" Of course, considering his own current level of deception, he may very well be quite offended by what I have written here. It is my understanding that for years now, he has been upset with the mass media due to their intentionally misrepresenting the beliefs of the Heaven's Gate UFO cult.



While I have embraced the position that the "alien" and the pyramid were intentionally concealed in the Heaven's Gate logo, there is one other possibility that is worthy of your consideration. That is that perhaps even Rio D'Angelo wasn't aware of what he was actually drawing at the time. As far as he was concerned, he was just adding a brown-tinged planet to the logo.

You need to understand that when people fall under the strong influence of demonic deception, they are often not even aware that they are being used by Satan and his minions. These evil entities will use people as their vehicles, emissaries and messengers, without them even realizing it. This could very well be the case with Rio D'Angelo. If there is any truth to this possibility, then upon realizing what he actually drew over a decade ago, he may be just as shocked and surprised as everyone else. We will just have to wait and see how long it takes for someone to bring this article to his attention, and then we will see how he chooses to react to it. Maybe it will shake him up, and wake him up to the true nature of the force which has had a hold on his life for so many years now.

What I find so amazing is that this subliminal message has been in plain view for all of these years -- at least since the late 1990's -- and yet apparently, until now, no one has ever recognized it or deciphered. I am not saying this in a boastful manner. As I pointed out at the beginning of this article, I did not discover this through any serious effort of my own. It was quite an accident, and simply popped out at me when I joined the two images together. Those are the simple facts of the matter.

At this point in our discussion, allow me to make a personal statement to my Christian friends. While I have brought all of these strange and usual concepts and interpretations to your attention, please don't think for a minute that I accept them as God-inspired truth. My point in sharing them with you is simply to help you to understand how these things affect deceived people who do embrace this New Age psychobabble as unquestionable truth; and believe me when I say that there are indeed many such people, and that they seem to grow in number by the year. This in itself is a direct fulfillment of Biblical prophecy, as we see by the following verses. As you read them, please bear in mind that, like a number of other deceivers, cult leader Marshall Applewhite actually claimed to be the reincarnation of Jesus Christ:

"And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many . . . And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many . . . For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."


"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;"


"But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."


"For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock."


"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."


"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition . . . And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:"


If I was surprised by the unexpected discovery of a strange face within the pyramid, imagine how true UFO believers will react to it once they become aware of it. That is of concern to me, because it will probably feed their delusion further. If we consider how the misguided members of the Heaven's Gate UFO cult meticulously engaged in a collective act of mutual murder and suicide -- again, please refer to my three-part series "Heaven's Gate, Suicide and Other Death Cults" -- then if anything, the strange face in the pyramid must represent a deceptive demon who is peering out from the darkness, and not a Zeta Reticulan, or any other kind of supposed benign alien. Having said that, it seems to me then that what the deceived members of the Heaven's Gate cult may have really discovered was a portal to Hell, and not a gateway to Heaven as they erroneously supposed.

Earlier, I mentioned that contrary to his claims, Rio D'Angelo was not the sole survivor of the Heaven's Gate UFO cult. While it is commonly reported that thirty-nine Heaven's Gate members voluntarily took their lives that dreadful day in 1997 in the Rancho Santa Fe community, the truth of the matter is that in less than a year's time, two other members also succeeded in taking their lives. Why did they do this? Because they were so deceived, that they erroneously believed that they had missed the boat in March of 1997; when their fellow UFO cult members allegedly hitched a ride on an alien spacecraft which they were convinced trailed the comet Hale-Bopp. In fact, one of the two attempted suicide two times before he managed to achieve his objective. Such was their level of deception.



Concerning cult member Rio D'Angelo -- a.k.a. Richard Ford -- while surfing the Internet in order to determine what became of him following the events of March, 1997, I discovered a two-page commentary -- what really amounts to a plug for his book -- that he wrote for the laweekly.com website in March of 2007. Sadly, despite the years that have passed, Mr. Ford still remains just as deceived as ever. Not only that, but either intentionally, or perhaps unknowingly, he twists the meaning of some of the doctrines of our Christian faith in order to align them with his personal belief system. Here is a short excerpt from his commentary:

I want you all to know that I was a member of Heaven's Gate from 1994-1997. I know everything worth knowing about them and I can say with absolute, undeniable certainty, that Heaven's Gate was indeed “The Second Coming of Jesus.” I know it to be true and I have written a book about my experience called, “Beyond Human Mind – the Soul Evolution of Heaven's Gate.” I have included video testimonials from each student in the group recorded days before the end and also a statement from DO, the Representative from Heaven."

In the same two-page commentary, D'Angelo makes the claim that Jesus Christ taught His Disciples about reincarnation. Furthermore, D'Angelo claims that reincarnation and being born again are one and the same thing. Not only is this not true, but it clearly demonstrates D'Angelo's obvious lack of understanding concerning the truth of the Scriptures. As I point out in other articles, quite to the contrary, rather than teach us that we are born into many life cycles as the reincarnation advocates assume, the New Testament clearly reveals that we are born once physically, and we die once physically as well. Consider the following verse:

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"


While we are only born once into this world, we can actually die twice, if we are not born again spiritually through our faith in the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ. That is precisely what Jesus meant when He had the following conversation with a Pharisee named Nicodemus:

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit."


According to the closing chapters of the Book of Revelation, following the resurrection of the dead of all time, everyone will appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ, and will be judged according to their works. Those who don't make the grade and who fail to pass the test, because they refused to accept Jesus Christ -- meaning that their names will not be found in the Lamb's Book of Life -- will be cast into the Lake of Fire, which the Bible refers to as the Second Death; that is, a final death. Consider the following verses:

"But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ."


"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."


"And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."


In light of Scriptural truth, it becomes evident that Rio D'Angelo's Buddhist inclinations are wrong, that his belief concerning reincarnation is seriously misguided, and that even after all of these years, he still remains deceived. While he claims to have an important message to share with the world -- and indeed, it does contain elements of truth, because Satan always mixes a bit of truth in with his lies -- in its totality, his message is false, it is a lie, and it is in fact a demonic deception. Perhaps what appears to be a demon hiding in the shadows of the Great Pyramid of Khufu is the one who put those false ideas into D'Angelo's head in the first place.

In thinking about that creature, I was reminded of some of Whitley Streiber's descriptions of the demons which plagued him in his 1987 book "Communion". While Mr. Streiber doesn't outright declare the entities to be either aliens or demons, the truth seems rather obvious to me. As I explain in some of my other UFO-related articles, I do not believe that any benign entity would torment a human being in the fashion that Streiber was tormented, assuming that there is even any truth to his claims.

It should not go unnoticed that these evil creatures always seem to prefer to remain semi-hidden in the shadows. They are never willing to fully reveal their true selves or their true nature. That is part of the game of deception that they like to play. That is exactly how the "alien" appears once we join the two logo images together. He is clearly present, but he almost fades into the dark shadows of the pyramid. It is as if such creatures are actually afraid to come out fully into the light. Why? Because they have something to hide, and they don't want us to recognize what they truly are. I am reminded of the following verses that are found in the Gospel of John:

"And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."


As I explain in other others, Satan is a liar, a deceiver, a usurper and an imitator. As the false god of this world, he tries to imitate what he has seen and learned in the Spirit World, including in the Grand Courts of Heaven. It should not surprise us then that by placing two copies of the Heaven's Gate logo side-by-side, we discover a dark pyramid. You see, for those of you who may not be aware of it, the Bible also speaks of a Great Pyramid of Light. In actuality, this Pyramid is the Heavenly City -- the New Jerusalem -- which the Bible informs us is foursquare, and shaped like a great mountain. While some people have erroneously assumed that this means that the Heavenly City is shaped like a great cube, I do not believe that this is the case whatsoever. My understanding is that New Jerusalem is foursquare at its base, and slowly rises to a tapered point at its apex, just like a pyramid. When you gaze at mountains off in the distance, do they appear as cubes? Of course not; they appear as tapered peaks. So it is with the Heavenly City. Consider the following verses:

"And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life."


In contrast to the wonderful, pyramidal City of Light that is described for us in the previous verses, the pyramid that I have discovered in the Heaven's Gate logo images is dark and foreboding, and a demon appears to dwell in its shadows. It is the exact opposite of what is described for us in the pages of the Bible. So the lesson from all of this is very clear; and that is that we must continually be on our guard, and watch out for Endtime deceivers and workers of darkness who pretend to be true "Lightworkers" and the emissaries of the Light. As we are also told in the Old Testament book of the Prophet Isaiah:

"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"
