Continuing our discussion from part one, similar to Cyrus, these misguided, politically-minded Christians who adhere to the so-called "Seven Mountains" theology of Dominionism, believe that Donald Trump has been called by God for a very similar purpose. That is to say, to restore America to her so-called former "greatness" before the Left took control of the government, and to restore Christianity to its rightful place as the founding faith of the United States of America.
Ironically, I recall hearing years ago that former President George W. Bush -- who was also said to be heavily influenced by Christians -- likewise had a messiah complex with regard to what they were trying to accomplish in the Middle East. Well, we all know how that turned out. You may be interested in reading my 2008 four-part series entitled "Obama, McCain and the Bush Legacy", which you will find listed at the end of this same article.
While this plan to use Donald Trump as some sort of political messiah may sound good and well to some of you, if you are wondering why I am opposed to Dominionism, then I invite you to read my 2024 one-part article "Beware of Dominionism!", which you will find listed at the end of this same article. As you will hopefully see, according to teachings that can be found in the New Testament, what these Dominionist Christians are doing is just plain wrong.
Regarding the 2024 presidential election, and the issue of voting in general, I likewise invite you to read my 2019 four-part series called "To Vote, or Not to Vote", which is also listed at the end of this same article. For now though, let me make one final important point.
I really don't know who is going to honestly and fairly win the 2024 US presidential election. There has been so much exaggeration, lies, deceptions and embellishments from both political camps that it is very hard to say. Add to that the various conflicting poll numbers -- which no one should ever really trust anyway -- and it just makes it that much more difficult to know the truth regarding who is faring better in the current election season.
But as I mentioned earlier, even more worrisome is the fact that even before the actual election day takes place, there have already been a number of disturbing reports alleging voting improprieties discovered in Pennsylvania, and if I am not mistaken, I believe in Arizona as well. Furthermore, according to the news, election officials in Pennsylvania have already confirmed some of these allegations to be true.
So I will just come right out and say it. I don't trust the Democrats in this election cycle one single bit. I honestly don't know if they stole the election from Donald Trump in 2020 as he and a number of other people claim. However, it is a matter of public record what they have done to try to slow down, stop, defeat and in fact destroy Donald Trump since he first came down that golden escalator in June of 2015 in Trump Tower in New York City.
We have all witnessed the multiple accusations against Trump by various women alleging sexual misconduct many years after the events supposedly occurred. We are all aware of the fake Christopher Steele dossier and the Russian collusion hoax which was later proven to be false. It is likewise hard to ignore the various court cases brought against Donald Trump due to alleged improprieties in his business dealings. Then there was the raid on Mar a Lago. More recently, we have the wild accusations of Donald Trump being a fascist, a dictator and the next Hitler who will take down all of his political enemies if he is given the reins of power. Lastly, and most importantly of all, there have been two actual assassination attempts on Donald Trump's life.
My friends, I honestly don't know how much of all of that is really true. Do I believe that Donald Trump is a saint? Most definitely not! Do I think that he may be guilty of some of the things of which he has been accused? Probably so. Do I trust him? No, but I could say that of any politician. After all, Trump is a proud, vain, egotistical business man of the world who has now learned the political ropes in Washington.
But more importantly, in my view, Trump is not a God-fearing, Bible-believing Christian like you and I, despite what the Dominionists try to make him out to be. Personality-wise, he often acts childish with his name-calling and he doesn't know how to control his mouth. So, yes, the man definitely has his character flaws, just like the rest of us.
However, despite all of that, and regardless of how much of it may be true or false, the bottom line is that the Liberal Democrats have incessantly hounded Donald Trump for the past eight years like rabid dogs. Furthermore, the closer we have gotten to the 2024 presidential election, even more rabid, vicious and desperate they have become in their efforts to take him completely out of the picture, as is evidenced by the two assassination attempts. Yes, I know. Neither attempt has been clearly pinned on the Democrats. It is all merely hearsay, right? Sarcasm intended.
So, do I believe that the Democrats will do everything that is within their power to cheat, in order to steal the 2024 presidential election? I most certainly do! As I mentioned earlier, Jesus said "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them," and we have already clearly seen what the Democrats are capable of doing. Haven't we? Or isn't eight years of hounding a man evidence enough?
Quite frankly, given everything that has already happened, and what has already been revealed, my confidence in this being a fair 2024 election, and the final results of this election being trustworthy, are very low indeed. Now tell me, can anyone really blame me for feeling this way?
Back in 2013, Hollywood released a new Star Trek film that took place in the alternate universe called "Star Trek Into Darkness". Well folks, in my view, we are ALREADY in the darkness, and have been in darkness for quite some time now. However, I am convinced that if Kamala Harris wins the 2024 presidential election, we will be taken even further into the darkness. Let me also add that if people vote based on how one of their favorite music artists, or one of their favorite TV program actors, or perhaps a favorite Hollywood actor has voted -- which is what Harris is obviously hoping people will do -- then truly, American voters have really become shallow, just like Harris herself.
However, there is one final important factor which needs to be added to this equation, and that is the following. As I explain in "To Vote, or Not to Vote", despite all of the wicked machinations of men, I also believe that whoever God wants to be the next president of the United States, will in fact be the next president of the United States, whether it is to serve as a vessel of God's Mercy towards the American people despite their many sins, or to serve as God's vessel of wrath to chastise the American people for their sins. Consider what the Apostle Paul had to say regarding this subject:
"What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?"
Romans 9:14-24, KJV
Regarding why I am convinced that whoever becomes the next American president will apparently be God's choice, and not merely the choice of the American people and the American voting process, regardless of whether the election is fair or not, allow me to again remind you of the following group of verses:
"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. FOR THERE IS NO POWER BUT OF GOD: THE POWERS THAT BE ARE ORDAINED OF GOD. WHOSOEVER THEREFORE RESISTETH THE POWER, RESISTETH THE ORDINANCE OF GOD: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake."
Romans 13:1-5, KJV
"Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck. For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another."
Psalms 75:5-7, KJV
"Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:"
Daniel 2:20-21, KJV
"This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men."
Daniel 4:17, KJV
"I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me."
Jeremiah 27:5, KJV
"The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will."
Proverbs 21:1, KJV
"For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice. Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD. And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel."
1 Samuel 15:23-26, KJV
"And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost."
Acts 12:21-23, KJV
So regardless of who wins, and no matter how difficult it may be for some people on either side of the political isle, as Bible-believing Christians, it is our duty and obligation to accept that it is apparently God's Will, so that His divine purposes might be fulfilled in our nation, whether for good, or for evil.
